Yea right, I am SO not cut out for language, then again, foreign language is always about perseverance, lots of vocab to soak up. I am more wanting the reading portion of it more than anything else. There are so many differences in dialectics of different areas that it is just a mess to speak, although Egyptian is becoming the most predominant colloquial form, I might move into that after I finish with MSA.
Speaking MSA (Modern Standard Arabic) is sort of like walking around in an English speaking nation and talking Shakespearean, lol. Although, MSA is still used on the news, in papers, etc.
