  • Why'd you delete your comment? I wouldn't be offended. I've been pretty open with my struggles with depression and anxiety.
Where typing is concerned, I'm confused. I've narrowed it down to two seemingly different types. ENFP and INTP. I can't decide if my thinking function comes first or if its tertiary. I know Ne is in my top two. I'm not entirely sure I'm Fi, as I can't seem to recognize it in myself.
Actually, it was the static ip. *does the happy dance* How ridiculous of an overlook was that? Thank you! It worked!

    *smooch!*
Well, I'm sitting and fiddling with this right now. It's not my network card, because the problem is also on two other computers. I have no idea what the frack my dad did when he set up the network. The IP's are all in conflict. It won't allow us to renew/release the ip because "media is disconnected."
For some reason, "wisdom teeth" were on the tip of my tongue. No clue why. Either way, not cool that you're unable to enjoy your food. Lots of milkshakes for you, Mister! Strengthen that enamel! lol
Ew, tooth pain is the worst. Sending you lots of painkilling thoughts and love.
And no. I don't have msn or skype on this comp. It's communal, so I'm pretty much getting booted off on a regular basis. lol.

As for my injury? It's a scar now. The stitches fell out and I'm scar-therapying it up :)
I agree that there are practical considerations, but some things cannot be predicted. But the ethical implications of a discovery seem to rely more with how governments and private organizations utilize discoveries and fund research rather than the researchers themselves.

Most things with significance could be significantly good or significantly bad. Nuclear fusion as an example.
Yea, a lot of things don't progress due to limited foresight, or trained thinking, as well. But then, hindsight is definitely 20/20.

I often overlook small details when I have done something a bunch of times in a row. Stuff like that seems mind numbing.
One could call it the beauty of the adaptation of life. It is only ugly when we look at the implications. :D

There are definitely a lot of people that do not like the idea of altering evolution or 'God's work' but I find the idea fascinating and I can't help but get excited at the prospects. :D

Neuroscience is still the most fascinating to me, although anything merging technology and biology is very interesting. :) I just need a better background in both.
Biological engineering seems like the answer to sustainability to me. Overpopulation is definitely an issue.

If we can biologically engineer synthetic nutrition though and also engineer solutions to better birth control, it may solve a lot of our problems.
I really like how technology and biology are intertwining more and more. I wish I could see where biological engineering will take us in 100 years.
Oh definitely, our bodies are sort of one of the final frontiers in terms of technological advancement.
