Computer problem not yet resolved. My more tech-savvy buddy is coming over to take a look at it either tomorrow or after tomorrow. *sigh*
The CCNA programs in schools need to include far more practical implementation to teach to make it more interesting otherwise it's just like trying to capture sand with a sieve.
I have been alright, I should be getting a job offer this Friday so I am a little excited and a little anxious about that. I am excited to have a new job lined up, anxious that the offer won't be very good. Only time will tell.
I haven't been up to a whole lot lately, just studying for my CCNA certification that I am focusing on more than ACT now due to the job prospect. There is a lot of content, but a lot of the terminology and protocols are starting to come back to me, which is nice. I have forgotten a lot of content.
That sounds very project management oriented. I don't know much about Lifecycle management or any of the business-end aspects of large scale IT projects. It sounds pretty interesting, I am questioning my ability to stay awake though, lol.
It sounds like your instructor would be looking for something very specific as well, along the lines of what IBM is already doing, which would probably make it harder to do research for as well. But I am going on very heavy speculation on that.

Well, looks like I'm going to be without the net for a couple of days, although I'm wondering if maybe you can point me in the right direction. We just set up a new router because the other one was crap. Everyone else's computer is fine, but mine has an ip conflict with another system on the network. So the wireless network is showing up just fine, I just can't connect to the net and I'm constantly bombarded by this ip error message. We've tried enabling DHCP on the router and setting up an automatic assign IP on the computer, but nothing is working. *headdesk*
