There's no need to make excuses for telling the truth, only when telling lies are excuses needed.
But why keep people at a distance? It's something I question myself on more and more these days. There's nothing wrong with it of course, but why not risk being close with someone? It is dangerous I suppose, but there are days that I feel like I should take the chance. Perhaps I'm either becoming increasingly reckless or increasingly bored.
There's nothing wrong with not being Feely. People may be suspicious of people who seem cold and distant, but I believe that the world is becoming much more broad-minded about this. I think the forums especially are good at understanding this sort of behaviour. Well, as long as it isn't genuine hatred I suppose. I don't really think there's any good evidence that one has to be a feeler in order to be a good person.
