sorry i wasn't really much help. postmodernist stuff is definitely the most playful with language i've come across.
They offer free classes at my rec center, but my best friend also has it, so I usually do it at her house. It's more fun to do it that way In my opinion.
i haven't read those books so i'm kind of guessing. have you read foe by j m coetzee? maybe something really crazy like 100 years of solitude or the crying of lot 49. you should google postmodernist and magic realist literatures and see if anything catches your eye.
