You are in Barca, congrats! The best city! ^_^ So yeah, that description is closer to INFP female from what I've seen so far. INFJs are often undertoned too, but they (unlike us NFPs) never seem to lose themselves that much in the needs of others. They provide for others, but not really being intimidated by them. Gah, I can't really understand that Ti/Fe combo of theirs, it's so foreign to me. (yet so attractive..)
I didn't say I guessed, I've seen your birthday date, and tend to remember such stats (just the signs not the dates). Sometimes I do guess just from facial features, but that is irrelevant to the scientific study that I wish to see tried. If there's no universal method to share with other people, the personal abilities don't count, unfortunately.
Classical heroine is for example Pollyanna (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0054195/), who I think is INFP; or princess Diana. There's some level of pure pure idealism within such characters which can't be reached by any other MBTI type, so I have had thoughts sometimes that if the world was sane, INFPs would have been of highest praise. Oh, so it sounds I got it all wrong about your mother; I'm sorry she is depressed. Then maybe she is ISTJ, they have depressive tendencies, unfortunately.
