What I meant was I completed my bachelor's education (undergraduate) not too long ago. My application is for an international development program, which is an area of study and a field concerned with what is going on in the developing countries/global south/"third-world" (aka poverty stricken areas of the globe). It involves a study of the social, economic, and political factors that affect development (and thus the life of persons living in said areas) across the globe, and the relationships between "developed" and "developing" nations.
