Are your new job-related duties going to be similar to your old position or are you getting a chance to explore some new horizons?
I have no clue what I'm doing for New Years. Not just yet (probably drag my ass to a club with a couple of girlfriends at the last minute).
I just like pretty things and justify buying them for one odd reason or another.
But anyway, today I reaffirmed why I hate malls. I have no patience to be in a store for more than the necessary five or ten minutes it takes to scan and lock in on a desirable object. Crowds disrupt this streamlined process and I am a very, UNHAPPY CONSUMER if I have to wait in a line for more than five minutes. I need to be stimulated--and staring at the back of somebody's head does not count as such. I'm surprised I made it through two stores before I quit and just went to the bookstore for the rest of the afternoon. Read the "Philosophy of Batman," but thought the "Philosophy of the Legend of Zelda." was a much more snort-worthy read.
So, now you...... what's the news you were waiting on?
Let's celebrate with apple cider! (which I'm totally trying not to drink, but it's sitting in my fridge and looking so... delicious)
