Yeah, it's just there is something inside of me that says "something is not right here!".
I think it would be great if everyone ate healthy and exercised often but I also think that we need to be understanding that such a regime is going to have different results for different people (for instance some people will receive extreme benefits in terms of some health markers while other markers like body size may not improve at all).
I haven't read that, but the purpose of body fat seems to me to be stored in case of wasting from disease and famine. We have a large population of polynesians here in New Zealand and you can tell that their bodies were built for surviving on the meager offerings of their small islands and the vagaries of their weather.
Once they come to New Zealand they often become obese and I would feel strongly uncomfortably casually attributing that to laziness or greed as some do.
