If I may speak freely, this is clearly a phase of denial. The American people are finding it hard to accept that such a small non-being is crippling its high and mighty first world stature. They should remember that David killed Goliath and COVID19 might as well be the David of 2020. Do they really need to see the bodies before they realized they're ultimately fucked?
