Many times I pray, and watch or hear of the prayer being done.

If a person is acting suspiciously, we wonder why. If someone acts sickly and in need of quick help, we are trying to help someone. If someone lies a lot, we know to not believe everything they say. That is an observation I might see. When we choose to not spend a lot of time with a certain person, it is a choice. Decision-making does not require judging.

When someone tells another what they should do and where, they have no right to say so. Experience may tell ourselves what to do. Intuition may tell us what to do. Avoidance of another's words comes naturally. Our answer as to what we should or should not react to comes to some of us immediately. However, if we study the situation a good bit, then do what we decided, it seems more like discerning than judging to me.

Sometimes just seeing things makes us think a lot. The compass is heading right to the storm, yet we keep going. We tighten the ropes and secure everything. Some people choose avoidance. Some people go around the storm, knowing it will require a much longer trip away from the storm. Some people decide to wait it out, though not always possible if we are in the sea.

If we can see the storm approaching, we would almost know which way the wind is blowing. We may see the storm changing course, making us think we should not be out there amongst the many luxuries of the sea.
Adventures are to help build the soul. At times, we grab raingear and just go anyway just to experience it. There is not a storm on the seas which does not affect our hearts while we experience it.

Seeing light and white clouds through a window in the darkness can make us wonder about the difference in the upper wind currents and the lower currents. Some storms just go their own way. Better to be on the sea than in turbulence above. At least we can use our experience to fight the sea, while we trust the experience of a pilot. Is trust and surrender so bad?

Now we have calm seas and our port on the horizon. We take a moment to look back at the storm. It is good we made it through the storm, as many different types of storms are in our future.
