« appel du vide »

Also I read somewhere some time that experiencing this is a sign of a healthy brain. I'm sure it was totally legit because I read it on social media.

No but really, it does make sense.

It’s interesting because this « appel du vide » reminds me of Sartre when he says that existential freedom is radical and absolute. At any moment t, there is an infinite possibility of choices available to a person that may not accord with what ‘the others’ or ‘society’ may think is best for them. Jumping off a cliff represents such a possibility very vividly. Sartre, I think, would say that the idea of jumping off the cliff is attractive because it gives us an unconscious reminder of how free we really are. And because that freedom so radical, so absolute – it’s almost dizzying to feel it, it induces vertigo.

Also I read somewhere some time that experiencing this is a sign of a healthy brain. I'm sure it was totally legit because I read it on social media.

No but really, it does make sense.

Yes, supposedly the more intelligent, the more functional the imagination of that person and therefore is an evolutionary hand up to those able to accurately predict all possible outcomes.
This is also supposed to be why many highly intelligent people suffer from anxiety or depression problems.

PRAYER FOR THE GREAT FAMILY —
(AFTER A MOHAWK PRAYER)

Gratitude to Mother Earth, sailing through night and day–
and to her soil: rich, rare, and sweet
in our minds so be it.

Gratitude to Plants, the sun-facing light-changing leaf
and fine root-hairs; standing still through wind
and rain; their dance is in the flowing spiral grain
in our minds so be it.

Gratitude to Air, bearing the soaring Swift and the silent
Owl at dawn. Breath of our song
clear spirit breeze
in our minds so be it.

Gratitude to Wild Beings, our brothers, teaching secrets,
freedoms and ways; who share with us their milk;
self-complete, brave, and aware
in our minds so be it.

Gratitude to Water: clouds, lakes, rivers, glaciers;
holding or releasing; streaming through all
our bodies salty seas
in our minds so be it.

Gratitude to the Sun: blinding pulsing light through
trunks of trees, through mists, warming caves where
bears and snakes sleep–he who wakes us–
in our minds so be it.

Gratitude to the Great Sky
who holds billions of stars–and goes yet beyond that–
beyond all powers, and thoughts
and yet is within us–
Grandfather Space.
The Mind is his Wife
so be it.

Free Ebook PDF - http://www.allankardec.com/Allan_Kardec/Le_livre_des_esprits/lesp_us.pdf

"Of the five fundamental books that comprise the Spiritist Codification, The Spirits’ Book was the first one that compiled all the teachings of high order spirits (the Spirits) through mediums the world over.

It is the landmark of a doctrine that has had a great impact on the thought and life view of a considerable portion of humankind since 1857, when the first French edition was released.

It is divided into four parts and has 1,019 questions asked by Allan Kardec, the Codifier of Spiritism.
It rationally and logically presents the teachings of Spiritism in their scientific, philosophical and religious aspects.

No matter what the religious convictions or beliefs of the reader are, reading The Spirits’ Book will be of immense value for everyone, for it addresses the issues of God, the immortality of the soul, the nature of spirits and their relations with human beings, moral laws, our present and future lives and the future of humankind - subjects of general interest and great practicality."

The Mediums' Book is the second of the five books comprising the Codification of the Spiritist Doctrine.
The book presents the teachings of the Spirits on all types of spirit manifestations, the ways of communicating with the invisible world, the different types of mediums, the development of mediumship, and the difficulties and obstacles that may be found in the practice of Spiritism.

At the end of the book there is a helpful basic Spiritist glossary.
Besides being a source of indispensable reading and research for Spiritists, The Mediums' Book is also an essential source of knowledge for any person interested in the mediumistic phenomenon, which is manifesting increasingly the world over, both inside and outside Spiritist activities per se.

Since incarnates are an integral part of the exchange between the two planes of life- the physical and the spiritual- it is advisable that we fully understand the mechanics of such a relationship.

The Mediums' Book is the safest guide for all those who have devoted themselves to communicating with the Spirit World.

Magic mushrooms 'reboot' brain in depressed people – study
Patients unresponsive to conventional treatments benefit when treated with natural psychoactive compound,
but researchers warn against self medication.

2037.jpg

Magic mushrooms contain psilocybin, a psychoactive compound that led to reduction in depressive symptoms when given to patients in trials.

Magic mushrooms may effectively “reset” the activity of key brain circuits known to play a role in depression, the latest study to highlight the therapeutic benefits of psychedelics suggests.

Psychedelics have shown promising results in the treatment of depression and addictions in a number of clinical trials over the last decade.
Imperial College London researchers used psilocybin – the psychoactive compound that occurs naturally in magic mushrooms – to treat a small number of patients with depression, monitoring their brain function, before and after.

Images of patients’ brains revealed changes in brain activity that were associated with marked and lasting reductions in depressive symptoms and participants in the trial reported benefits lasting up to five weeks after treatment.

Dr Robin Carhart-Harris, head of psychedelic research at Imperial, who led the study, said: “We have shown for the first time clear changes in brain activity in depressed people treated with psilocybin after failing to respond to conventional treatments.

“Several of our patients described feeling ‘reset’ after the treatment and often used computer analogies. For example, one said he felt like his brain had been ‘defragged’ like a computer hard drive, and another said he felt ‘rebooted’.

“Psilocybin may be giving these individuals the temporary ‘kick start’ they need to break out of their depressive states and these imaging results do tentatively support a ‘reset’ analogy. Similar brain effects to these have been seen with electroconvulsive therapy.”

For the study, published in Scientific Reports on Friday, 20 patients with treatment-resistant depression were given two doses of psilocybin (10 mg and 25 mg), with the second dose a week after the first.

Of these, 19 underwent initial brain imaging and then a second scan one day after the high dose treatment.
The team used two main brain imaging methods to measure changes in blood flow and the crosstalk between brain regions, with patients reporting their depressive symptoms through completing clinical questionnaires.

Immediately following treatment with psilocybin, patients reported a decrease in depressive symptoms, such as improvements in mood and stress relief.

MRI imaging revealed reduced blood flow in areas of the brain, including the amygdala, a small, almond-shaped region of the brain known to be involved in processing emotional responses, stress and fear.

The authors believe the findings provide a new window into what happens in the brains of people after they have ‘come down’ from a psychedelic, with an initial disintegration of brain networks during the drug ‘trip’ followed by a re-integration afterwards.

Last year, two US studies showed that a single dose of psilocybin could lift the anxiety and depression experienced by people with advanced cancer for six months or even longer.

The Imperial College researchers acknowledge that the significance of their results is limited by the small sample size and the absence of a control/placebo group for comparison.

They also stress that it would be dangerous for patients with depression to attempt to self-medicate.

(Skarekrow here : I agree that mushrooms can potentially be dangerous to certain individuals who are taking SSRIs and similar medications that may be contraindicated, this is why it is important to do your research, speak with someone knowledgable, know what you are doing, set your intentions, setting, and always have a sober babysitter.
Until they get their thumbs out of their asses “self-medicating” is all people who are suffering needlessly can do right now, I advocate the safe and therapeutic use of these substances and do not advocate them just to party with and get high.
I can personally attest that they saved my life with zero negative side-effects and it isn’t something I have to take the rest of my life.
Be smart about it people.)

Professor David Nutt, director of the neuropsychopharmacology unit in the division of brain sciences, and senior author of the paper, said:
“Larger studies are needed to see if this positive effect can be reproduced in more patients. But these initial findings are exciting and provide another treatment avenue to explore.”

The authors currently plan to test psilocybin against a leading antidepressant in a trial set to start early next year.

The research was supported by the Medical Research Council, the Alex Mosley Charitable Trust and the Safra Foundation.

The Doors of Perception is a philosophical essay, released as a book, by Aldous Huxley. First published in 1954, it details his experiences when taking mescaline. The book takes the form of Huxley's recollection of a mescaline trip that took place over the course of an afternoon in May 1953. The book takes its title from a phrase in William Blake's 1793 poem The Marriage of Heaven and Hell. Huxley recalls the insights he experienced, which range from the "purely aesthetic" to "sacramental vision".[1] He also incorporates later reflections on the experience and its meaning for art and religion.

DESTINO

by Walt Disney and Salvador Dali
(It took from 1943-2003 to complete)

Destino is an animated short film released in 2003 by The Walt Disney Company.
Destino is unique in that its production originally began in 1945, 58 years before its eventual completion.
The project was originally a collaboration between American animator Walt Disney and Spanish Surrealist painter Salvador Dalí, and features music written by Mexican songwriter Armando Dominguez and performed by Dora Luz.
It was included in the Animation Show of Shows in 2003.

Well, I am going to lead a chronic pain group in Portland - in case anyone is interested.
I know some folks here on the forum live rather close or actually in the city.
It is primarily focusing on using psilocybin to treat the chronic pain issues and side effects from having such a condition in the first place.
Without the psilocybin intervention in my life I would probably not be where I am currently am.
So we will focus on depression/anxiety/PTSD/chronic pain and how all these can be lessened or aliviated outright.
The biggest gift I received from my use of these helpful substances was the ability to really focus and meditate properly - it has been through that that I have been a able to gain a hold on those things troubling me (depression, anxiety, chronic pain issues)..most of which were/are physiological in nature, not psychological, but we control our bodies to a greater extent than I think most of us realize.
The second greatest gift was the change of perspective...the removal of the filters at that time in my life filtering my judgment of things, others, myself, my future, self-worth, etc.
When depressed or anxious your perspective is so incredibly narrowed...it is very hard to not be self-centered, or feel that you are...which makes things worse with feelings of guilt.
Everything looks like shit...you lose interest in everything, sometimes everyone...you are stuck in a repetitive cycle of depression/anxiety...it's very hard to find motivation to try and improve your life situation when in that frame of mind also....as far as the chronic pain is concerned...not only is it the one responsible, but it can be self-perpetuating when your add the physical, emotional, spiritual, monetary, ect. stress there to keep your whole self in a state of constant and growing inflammation and irritation...thereby making your pain worse, which then adds more stress and the cycle repeats...usually getting worse over time until they are a shell of a person who has totally given up at having any semblance of a "normal" life (whatever that is?), or are seriously contemplating suicide.
The third greatest gift was the gift of connection.
Being in any of these personally difficult states of being (and others not mentioned), makes you feel like you are the last person on Earth...and not in a good way an introvert would enjoy, haha.
You could be being physically held by someone who loves you and still feel lost and alone...that connection to others is obstructed...it too is flowing through the negative and pessimistic filters.
You can be surrounded by loved ones and feel like no one will ever get you...that your perspective is too obscure to have and function with our current society of people jumping to immediate (and usually harsh) judgment of anything slightly strange or different.
What's more is you feel separated from the world in general...from nature...from the stars...the trees, and flowers, and grass.
You feel like you were born on the wrong planet.
And yes...many of these feelings are INFJ commonalities...but the great part about using the natural substances wisely and in an intelligent and informed manner - is you get to feel that connection that many long for in their lives.
Not only is the filter of negativity removed and you can see how ultimately beautiful and gorgeous our reality can be...it moves you to tears of joy it can be so intensely gorgeous...but you feel that you are connected to that beauty...and for someone depressed, or in constant pain or anxiety...seeing and experiencing that realization can be very profound and life-altering...for the better.
Remember...do your homework and be smart about it.
There is a safe and correct way and a wrong way here and potentially harmful routes you can take...don't be ignorant.
Much love!
M

Anyhow, that's my weird late night can't sleep rambling...

Now if we could just get consciousness to show up while people are alive!!! I think that would be good. Heh heh.

There's no point in pretending it's something not to think about...

We do anyway, don't we?
But it's how we think about it that matters - and how we feel about it, even more so.

Carlos Castaneda rivets our attention on the ever imminent reality in proclaiming the Shaman's rule:
that unless one can stand face to face with the unflinching reality of death - one is unsuited to the role of warrior traveler.

Now some might retort,
"We are not aspiring to be warriors anyway, so why make a big deal out of it?"

OK, but let's not confuse the more standard war-like connotation of that word 'warrior' with its further meaning as:
warrior traveler.

You see the 'traveler' factor is very significant; it means something that moves, that is not static.

It suggests a continuing exploration, a voyage, change an unfolding event, doesn't it?
Many reading this are no doubt warrior travelers in the making; brave explorers within the divine drama of life.

But many more might wish to be, yet feel a little fearful of the many unknowns that face the would be initiate.
I suggest that we all recognize this dilemma and share the insecurities and questions it raises within us.

So, just like any of life's innumerable hurdles, we can start by looking at 'passing' as a creative challenge.
There is clearly an art to dying just as there is an art to living.

The question is,
what might that art be... and will we be lucky enough to have a generous and largely pain-free space of quietude in which to perform it?

That would indeed be a blessing.

I'll have a stab at answering these rhetorical questions, but please bear in mind that they are my particular take on this - and I don't pretend to suggest otherwise.

This is a flight of the intuitive led imagination.

If dying is an art, then the first thing is to recognize is that it is 'art in progress', as it were...

We are talking about 'transition,' are we not?
We are talking about moving through different states of existence.

And so as to make as smooth a transition as possible, we can benefit from preparing ourselves in certain ways.

All artists have to embrace the discipline of practicing and developing their skills, otherwise their talents are wasted.
So we too can benefit from some discipline as our prelude to the act of passing.

Thus the art of dying may be enhanced by arranging a few practice sessions before finding ourselves (our souls) on this journey - whether we like it or not.

I have explored the possible nature of this transition as an extension of the discipline known as Hatha Yoga - and have gradually come to sense what it could be like.

This comes through the widely practiced discipline of 'complete relaxation' which is performed at the completion of the various stretches that comprise the majority of Hatha Yoga techniques.

Many, I'm sure, will already know about this relaxation technique.
'Complete relaxation' is about letting go.

So, I believe, is transitioning.
Lying on one's back with arms out to the side, one let's all the stuff of daily life fall away, to be pulled down to the centre of the Earth; using a type of downward gravity that applies itself to the abstract thought process.

These largely useless thoughts are then consumed by a fire at the Earth's core; and the pure energy, stripped of its burdensome weight, floats upwards into the cosmos.

The trick to releasing this energy is to abandon one's self completely to Source; Divine, Supreme Creator - or whatever force one feels brought one into this cycle of existence in the first place.

For it is that same force that will take us home.

While spread-eagled on one's back one gives one's self over to benign universal powers and requests to be cleansed and healed:
to loose one's "I-dentity"; the dispensing of ego.

So as to let all the 'I' centered thoughts fall away, until a deep calm and lightness of being prevails and a subtle sense of becoming spirit gradually takes over.

One might then experience a subtle sense of floating upwards, just as the weight of the physical body falls away.

It is here, at this gentle point of separation between material physicality and spirit ether that we get something akin to a memory of transitioning into the vastness of the infinite.

Infinite love.
A dimension state named 'heaven' in the texts of old.

On the first part of this journey the presence of brilliant rays of light become manifest.

Soon those photons are experienced as a state of being.
Light as a state of being.

Soul and light conjoined as one; expanding in intensity on the vibratory notes of a swelling symphonic resonance.

The speed of ascent may then quicken as 'spirit I' is pulled rapidly towards a magnetic point of great radiant power.
It is here where a profound cleansing is initiated, causing our soul seed to merge into a great pool of highly energetic fecund plasma; freed of all molecular Earth bound energies that were a requirement of dealing with third density worldly existence.

It is here where the soul seed (what remains of 'us') is melded into the vibratory expression of Essence itself.

Essence, vibrating at such a high velocity that it forms an oasis of profound stillness.
The omnipotent melding of the dual.

That which encompasses both Alpha and Omega points as One.
'The' One...

That is the culmination of the outward journey.
And also the culmination of an inward journey.

The inward and outward journeys arrive at the same source point they started from.

From here is fired the ecstatic 'birthing cosmos' double spiral.
The re-beginning.

Blasting the seed of fresh awakening life, back out into the next great unfolding cycle:
a further phase of the adventure of 'our' purified spirit.

Either re-experiencing life on Earth as the baby emerging from the womb of woman, or proceeding on another journey, guided by Source, to perform a role which gives further service to universal awakening.

As regards our individual journeys, well, they will be determined by our karma.

Each journey is unique, yet in many other respects, similar.
But the transition from 'material' life to 'spirit after-life' and onward into higher densities - or back to third density material existence once again - has one thing in common for all of us: its astounding mystery!

An intriguing part of this mystery surrounds the question:
who decides if we return again to planet Earth?

It is my belief that we decide.

But only if and when we have achieved (or maintained) a state of conscious awareness during the majority of our time on Earth.

Anyhow, a joyful embracing of 'the great mystery' is itself a vital factor in moving outward, onward and upward.
In saying this, I'm not advocating a denial of true scientific exploration.

When genuine and passionate, this complements our intuitive awareness.
Not so long ago, such a sense of mystery echoed out from the well thumbed pages of little books of fairy stories.

Our eager young minds were opened as were our eyes, by the sense of wonder and anticipation which these tales invoked in us.
That sense of mystery needs to prevail throughout our lives and into our passing, in spite of the ultra crude attempts being made to flatten, denigrate and ultimately destroy the living joy which is our birthright and cause to be.

After all,
  • Is it possible to observe sparkling water, swooping birds and gleaming forests - in fact any facet of the bounty of nature - without a sense of wonder?
  • Where are we if we can no longer innerly rejoice at the miraculous emanations of the great cycle of life and death?

  • Where are we if we cannot be overcome, from time to time, by the astounding wealth of diversity and mystery that underscores the unfathomable journey which we are all on?
  • Where are we if we see in all this simply the ordinary, the inert and the functional?

  • Where are we if it all comes down to just some sort of routine mediocrity, some soulless daily ordeal?
As the epitaph on the tombstone in an English graveyard declares,
"Here lies John Adams. The fact that he died does not guarantee that he lived."

And that's just it...

To die well we have to live well.
That means fully and generously, seizing every chance we have to fully utilize our potentiality, imagination and creative aspirations.

Using them to bring justice to an unjust world.
To boldly confront deceit with truth.

That is the prerogative attached to being 'human', and that which makes us proud of being human.
A state we cannot accomplish when cut off from our fellow earthlings or when seeking solely to secure our own self interests or narcissistic ambitions.

That is a road which runs counter to our deepest callings.
It results in the fact that death becomes a much feared event.

Feared because death most assuredly terminates the willful cravings of the ego.
Most surely shreds the puffed-up vanities of narcissism and most surely confers upon its carrier further cycles of atonement, before 'the passing' is able to bring about a true freedom of spirit and an onward journey of joyous exaltation.

Yes, to die well, we must live well, in which we include giving others a leg-up on the road of life wherever possible - so that they may have the chance to shine and find the divine in themselves.

Giving a lift to those who can benefit from our help, whatever their walk of life, whatever their failings or seeming faults - that is a fundamental expression of service to humanity which we are bound to put into action.

For in the end that person and us are unified in our struggle, sharing the same emotional pulls, needs and internal and external agonies and ecstasies.
  • Is there not one great pool of consciousness in which all we 'human' beings find shared commonality?

  • And isn't it imperceptibly rising at this very time?

  • Are not the walls of 'difference' steadily breaking down?
For, at the centre of this pool of consciousness, is the cyclic mysterious ferment which has no observable life or death, but just an ever expanding IS.

And that is where we are heading at the completion of our temporal physical existence on planet Earth.
And that is where we all came from 'once upon a time’.

That eternal, supreme and boundless state, at once all time and at once no time.
That is what death has in store for us.

Rejoice in this, a great initiation indeed...!

Interesting article.
Enjoy!

A Bridge Between Worlds

A new paradigm of Being is opening up.

It is here all around us.
But sometimes it's extremely hard to balance the connection to this 'new world' with living day-to-day in society, especially because not everyone is yet reading from this divine 'script'.

It can sometimes feel like it's one or the other.
Integrating one into the other can seem a nigh on impossibility, but it is not.

Here's where the tactile, empathic nature of the soul - the 'diplomat' - comes into it's own: intuiting and feeling the flow of 'rightness' in any given situation, yet molding and blending it into this material world for maximum unraveling and realigning impact.

You can live your truth, honor the alternative truth of another, yet not compromise your soul.

A tall order?
Yes indeed.

Mastering this Diplomat in you, is certainly a path to mastery.

But it is definitely possible...

The fuel of inner alchemy

It is no secret that we live in a world which is out of balance with nature and therefore out of alignment with the natural harmony of the universe.

As separation consciousness exploded outwards at the "Big Bang" and then condensed into form, so Unity Consciousness continues to destabilize outdated structures and harmonies of lower truth as it makes it's journey back to the source.

Unity Consciousness is this flow of love that is the universe's organizing energy which you can feel in your heart when you stop judging the moment or need a particular outcome from it.

Many people have now awakened and more than ever, are feeling the inner compulsion to 'be the change'.

It involves honoring and expressing your truth in every moment, not just with words, but in every physical, emotional and mental action that you take.
It leads to an internal cleansing of blocked energy and out-dated, distorted behavior patterns.

This is the fuel of inner alchemy.

Indicators of "Right Action"

So after awakening, the first realignment is to connect up to this never ending flow of truth and love, realizing that whatever may appear to be happening on the surface of reality, it is finding, honoring and expressing your truth as "Right Action" that truly counts.

In this sense, "Right" does not mean a judgment of 'good' and 'evil' or 'right' and 'wrong'.

It means: an action which is aligned with the universal flow.

How do you know if you are in this flow of "Rightness"?

Here are some key indicators:
  • They confront, challenge and break down the ego within you and within others with whom you're engaged.

  • Actions in rightness ultimately lead to an inner sense of expandedness, connection and openness, once you've broken through any tightness or resistance to expressing your truth.

  • When aligned with the flow, you tend to observe supportive synchronicity as the universe clicks into place around you.

  • When you're in "Rightness", it just feels right. It's like being in love. No one can tell you if you're in love. There's no logic to it. You just know.

  • A choice made in rightness will feel like destiny.
The 'sweet-spot' of Life

This destiny of rightness that the soul is reading, is not so much about making a choice of doing 'this' or 'that' (although rightness does lead to right choices).

It is more about finding and expressing lost aspects of your true nature.
Of course there is only one being, and everything is formed of this one being.

The One in you does not need a particular outcome because it already has everything.

What The One in you is truly looking for, is the nectar of life itself: to find the fullest, grandest, most complete expression possible.

And that defines the purpose of your soul.
And there is absolutely nothing else going on.

Ever...!

So if you can make a point of continually working to feel this truth, flowing through the core of your soul, then you will align with destiny.
With each expression of it, life will become increasing magical, mystical and simply divine.

You are fulfilling true purpose.

You've touched the 'sweet-spot' of life itself.

An impossible juggling act?

It's not always easy to express the soul.

The soul will lead you into confrontation and sometimes even conflict as you challenge the ways of old.
It's especially not easy because of the Matrix in which we live.

The Matrix is a huge 'eddy current' within the stream.
It would seem like it's been purposefully designed to capture the flowing energy, retard it into a 'box' and then to disconnect from the flow of rightness, riding roughshod over the natural harmony of life in the process.

It's like a dam has blocked up the stream, influencing, controlling and manipulating all life it catches in its net.

It has become a tremendous challenge to all those wanting to express and live the higher truth. You feel a pull beyond typical 9am-5pm conditionality, but you step out of line and the Matrix tries to punish you for it.

With rules and regulations, appointments, deadlines and expectations, there's every reason why not to express the truth.

Not only that, but the Matrix currently owns all the resources.

If you want to survive, most will have to interact with it in some way.
And what about your families, loved ones and colleagues who may not be feeling this flowing connection as you are?

This can be greatly influential.
Sometimes expressing the flow of truth may feel like an impossible juggling act.

Rest assured, it is not...

Different soul ray harmonics

This is where the Ray 4 comes in, the diplomat in you, that which helps you blend with multiple realities, that which helps you empathize but influence, that which accepts unconditionally but also catalyses.

This Ray 4 is the 'Bridge between Worlds'.

I observe that the soul is a blend of seven particular characteristics - a soul ray harmonic - and that all expressions of beingness tend to be a blend of these particular 'rays' of consciousness, just like sounding a note on a musical instrument.

If you can find the 'right' expression of you which is wanting to activate in this moment, then not only does it 'sound sweet', but you drop into the natural flow.

It feels just like heaven.
And there is nothing better than this...

Everything else that you may search or strive for in life is but an echo of this source sound.

I've also observed there is a spectrum of possible soul-ray-harmonics.
On one end of the spectrum are the catalysts.

They are here to 'shake life up’.
To change, unravel, unwind and metamorphosis.

They'll continually confront you with truth.

You'll simply not be allowed to rest in your lazy bed!

And on the other end of the spectrum are the empaths.

These are the souls who can absolutely and unconditionally accept life as it is without judging.
They can witness and feel the truth at the core of all behavior - no matter how distorted - and not need to change it.

They are that energy that helps play out a distortion so that others ultimately want to change, all of their own accord.

Now between this spectrum of catalyst and empath, each soul will be a unique blend of both.
In understanding this and realizing how you impact life around you, can be enormously helpful to your evolution.

It will make sense of why you encounter the interactions you do, why it can be so hard to express your truth and why others may react so negatively or conversely be so inspired at different times.

The 'gear-box' that harmonizes power with reality

Understanding and fine tuning your Ray 4, is like the gear box that transforms the raw power of the engine, into manageable torsion to turn the wheels. But this gearbox does need to be well oiled!

If you can fine tune your particular blend, then you will go a long way towards facilitating your flow through life.

So what does this mean in a practical sense?
  • Firstly acknowledge that you're here to influence and change the nature of reality. You're not supposed to be cooped up in a box. Even if people around you react with projection towards you, fear and anger, recognize it is their own distortion they're activating - otherwise they'd be able to calmly accept you as you are. As you realize this in your mind, feel a waterfall of flowing calmness descend around your expression of truth.
  • Secondly, in order to facilitate the greatest amount of positive change, there needs to be open doorways through the density of the field, that may touch something deep within another. In other words, whilst we stand our ground, we must recognize and honor the truth in another. Even if you notice theirs is a lower vibrational truth, it is still their truth and real to them. If you're given to influence, you won't get anywhere by riding roughshod over them.
  • Catalyzing and therefore unwinding means first working to recognize the 'ancient light' at the core of a distortion. So all actions have begun with an authentic exploration of reality by the soul. It's just that the ego then distorted the purity. So first work to find the truth at the core of their distortion and honor this with them. Then help them see the higher truth. If you've done it accurately, they'll be on your side and much more open to change.
  • Recognize that the stream will always find different pathways back to the ocean. If you try one approach and it doesn't work or if you then feel disconnected because you couldn't fully honor the flow, work not to judge yourself for it. Benevolence doesn't blame you! Instead keep softening into the place you are now at, pausing to reconnect again.
  • Compromise, but don't ever compromise the soul. Yes it may seem like an impossible paradox. But it is not... How can you make your truth the most understandable, the most reasonable, the most tactile, the most accessible and without any extra energy? If you can do this, you'll find you don't have to compromise your truth. Increasingly you'll be accepted.
  • Don't tell others what you know to be their truth (this can be a big button pusher!). Instead work to facilitate an increase in realization by asking an empowering question. One that is open ended, one that causes them to explore and feel for themselves.
  • Accept that sometimes you will be in a minority of one. It does not make your truth untruth. Know and accept when it is time to stand your ground, come what May. This will always test your level of trust in the divine. So be it. Take it as an opportunity to evolve and grow.
Is it the soul acting or the ego?

So how do you know when you're expressing what's really your soul (in this case the Ray 4) and when it's your ego that's running the distortion?
When does the authentic expression of the diplomat in you actually morph into compromising the soul?

This is a powerful and important question.
And there's only one soul who can answer it - you!

Lower mind likes a ready answer.
It tends not to be comfortable with open ended and abstract questions that 'hang in the air'.

But work to get used to that question…
"is this the soul acting now or the ego?"

Hold it in your awareness and challenge every situation with it.
Feel through your reaction/response to it.

If the ego is acting, choices are often made out of subtle levels of fear - of a need for a particular outcome.
So is your response really about placating because you're afraid of how they'll react to you?

Work to be honest with yourself.
The ego will make you feel less than.

It will make you feel small, which your natural body language will reflect.

Realize that ALL situations are a co-creation.
Both parties have something to learn.

You may be in rightness - the higher truth - so it's not that you're wrong, but perhaps you need to look for a more evolved expression?

I find that having this in my awareness, frequently softens the burden of 'carrying the truth’.
It means I wasn't 'wrong', I just need to look for a more sophisticated expression.

I find it makes the truth easier to bear.

Two Worlds

Whether we fully know it or not, we're living in two worlds at the moment.

The higher paradigm is to be found infusing this lower world, working to transform it.
Those who are already carrying the light, will frequently find it challenging.

The old world values are so used to living in the shadows and fear the light.
There's a clinging to the easy-to-understand, in-the-box expediency and soft comfort.

There's a strong dependence on the crutch of old behaviors.

Despite this, there comes a point where you simply cannot compromise your soul a moment longer.
You realize the illusion and that the only real purpose of life is the expression of you.

In mastering the Ray 4 Diplomat - an interwoven aspect of your soul - it means you can still be living and breathing the higher realm, whilst acting in this one.

It means you can stay in the truth.

In so doing, not only does your awakened life become more manageable, you become a powerful facilitator.

You become a bridge between the worlds...
