I am so proud of ya'll for staying on topic and not turning this into a political debate![]()
In term of the unfortunete event of Charlie Kirk shooting, it probably has more to do with how people consume media today than a an actual difference in our shared reality which, to me, I got as the essense of your thread, and two some extent I do agree.
I mean I've had debates with people where we both agree on the intepratations yet our conclusions are somehow tototally different.
This kinda issue maybe more prevelant In my generation especially. Technology moved so fast that within a relatively short time, information became incredibly easy to access. Reaching a conclusion on new issues stopped being the main challenge — instead, it became about questioning everything and thinking critically about what we’re seeing and basically asking the right questions in the first place.
I think it’s important not to overthink these dynamics, but also not to oversimplify them.
At the end of the day, it really comes down to compassion for one another, and to setting boundaries between what we recognize as interpretation and what we agree are facts.
Just thought I'd add my 2 cents.
