A lot of stuff is thrown away in our society because of the inbuilt obsolesance whereby the corporations don't build products that will last so that people need to keep buying more stuff which generates more waste

Mobile phones use valuable resources yet are often wasted. here is a phone made up of its component parts in such a way that parts can be replaced so that the entire phone doesn't need to be scrapped each time their is a fault or a person wants to upgrade:

Just pointing out that this is a enthusiast project, the only people it will benefit are tech enthusiasts. The problems with a modular phone is that even more space is needed to make the phone modular, there is also a problem with the FCC in the US (not sure if the right organisation but its the one that deals with wireless devices) as phones are approved on an individual specification basis, currently there is no means to approve a modular phone because there are no exact specifications.

Nearly everything is rather conveniently set up that way for getting cash, nearly the only thing being the resistance to obvious monopolies, sometimes when the few miraculously find their way into the mainstream and the writers subsequently get shut out because that's just the way it is. Unfortunate 'realities' and false dichotomies have a way of getting in the way of reform. Eg banning natural remedies, unless they're extracted or synthesized by pharmaceuticals, in the EU and their push to ban e-cigs (almost like they want people to get cancer).

Thats why they are trying to drum up popular support for the phone; if the demand is big enough the regulations will have to change accordingly

Also technology i shrinking so i don't soo size as being such an issue....i mean how much smaller do people want their phones to be?

They DO want people to get cancer

Also big pharma do not want to heal people because to heal people is to lessen their market; they want people chronically ill who will be customers for life

Hence the upswing in chronic conditions and auto-immune disorders

Look at how they are pushing statins on people when statins are said by many people to be harmful
 
Everybody could spend 5 minutes writing their senators and congressperson telling them they're not getting your vote unless they try to do something about the nukes... that should be a pretty decent test for whether or not they're worthy of office. Call me crazy for wanting a clean conscience with that, there's not even close to a good reason to have thousands of them, by a long shot. And to try to get the Russians to disarm their suit-case nukes (of which some have already gone missing), if they're really brave.

The manipulation that is done in the pharma industry is so scary. The falsifying of data, the distribution of placebos to patients expecting vaccines, the testing on 3rd world populations...it's scary and absolutely frightening!

There are so many ways pharma is manipulating the health of the society for their benefits.

yeah its the network of corporations. So they are doing the same sort of dirty tricks with food. Their argument with GMO's is that it will take about 20 years for them to carry out and release thorough studies into the affects of GMO's on humans but there are already animal studies that link GMO's to cancer and obesity

So their argument is: its going to take 20 years so in the meantime just keep eating them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My argument would be: until those studies have been carried out NO ONE SHOULD BE EATING THEM!

Exactly! But they put SO many products on the market even though there's been no longterm testing of their impacts! It's all money!

I think the crime is that so much of our food is laced with chemicals that harm us- unless one grows their own food (and even then with all the rain, soil and air pollution there's still PMs in it) they're out of luck.

GMO is being rejected by farmers in the US because its yeilds are worse than conventional crops!

Monsanto wants everyone to believe that we need to go GMO as a necessity but thats not true; they are just trying to fear monger everyone so that they can genetically modify people as GMO's change our DNA

Russia has been resisting the NWO and that is why they are rejecting the NWO poisons......its just a shame our governments aren't protecting us....it will mean that at some point if we want to survive we will have to overthrow our governments

Yes! It's a shame that the government isn't protecting us! It's also a shame because so many low income families have no other choice than to purchase them.

I don't know a whole lot about GMOs- but they're scary!

If you think about the craze of veganism and soy-based meat replacements...it makes you wonder. Was that pushed by the government?!

I don't know to what extent government is behind those things. There might be some info eg about soya stuff on the natural news website
