I do love how folks just post whatever about whomever without the slightest regard to objective facts or rudimentary verification.
Warren grew up poor. Warren worked her way into an impressive academic career. Warren ran for president with an solid portfolio of policy positions that, agree with them or not, were well reasoned and backed up by hard data.
There is not an economy in the world that compares with the US right now in almost all the ways that matter and that is in a large part because the Bidden Admin has incorporated most of her positions.

The right has adopted this philosophy because their hand has been forced into continually doubling down on being wrong.
It's kind of sad and pathetic how many people out there are living in a world of delusion, but it's mainly just a small very loud subset of extremists on both sides. Most people don't even involve themselves in the political sphere at all and are really of no consequence.
These people find "verification" wherever it is convenient for them to justify their own thoughts and opinions.
They've been radicalized as a means to an end and are just falling into being puppets themselves.
Don't waste your time trying to dig people out of their delusions, they will just fight back harder.

A lot of us on the "extreme right" are doing the opposite of doubling down. In 2020 I though Biden was a better candidate than Trump. I was wrong and changed my opinion. Many such cases.

Good for her, yet she is still yapping about corporate greed causing inflation. So corporations were not greedy in 2018 but then suddenly became greedy last few years? Interesting how this works.

This is pure gaslight and scapegoating. Grocery stores a literally one of the lowest profit margin businesses.

I say let her try opening a grocery store and show thesw greedy people how it's done. I bet she will soon find out that it sucks losing your own capital running a business. Much easier when it's taxpayer's money.

I wouldn't consider you on the extreme right at all.
Your perspective is just centered around financial success/concern which is probably going to lean anyone to the right at least a bit.

Also your opinion is pretty inconsequential since you don't even live in the US.

It’s only extreme to the degree he puts financial capital above human capital.

I mean, no problem with the regression of human liberty if it means the pocketbook is swole.

it is useless to simply disagree about who is gaslighting who. seems that the gist of her tweet is that major corporations are benefiting from raising prices in that they are taking higher profits.

Working class by and large supports Trump. Same for Latino population. So unlike Kamala supporting champagne socialists I'm actually on the side of the working class here, if we're going down that road. College educated young women are the Kamala demographic.

Trump, to the extent that he follows trough with his America first policies, would be good for Midwestern America versus coastal elites/Washington.

Stock market is gonna go up regardless who wins.

Raising prices doesn't necessarily mean rising profits. You do know that input costs can also go up, right? So when employee raises wages or pays more for key inputs like energy is ok, but when they raise prices it's greed.

Raising prices doesn't necessarily mean rising profits. You do know that input costs can also go up, right? So when employee raises wages or pays more for key inputs like energy is ok, but when they raise prices it's greed.

The argument is that the profit hike is from raising prices beyond what the costs have risen to, whether or not that is really the case is in the details but since it is a liberal democratic us senator making the claim it is clearly fictitious.
 
I do like how Elon is directly countering George Soros. I didn't understand the purchase of twitter at the time, but it was a powerful acquisition. He needs to have a close eye kept on him. I don't trust Monopoly structures but who can compete at this point. Hes kinda in his own league. The Satan costume for Halloween could have been a not funny joke I suppose.

A lot of money is just simply wasted by lining the pockets of those at the top while leaving very little for the business itself never mind the workers as the case is with Walmart where many are on food stamps.

The corruption is so wide spread. The SEC uses tax payer dollars to bring lawsuits that hurt the retail investors. Cyber attacks seem to be a flimsy excuse to drain it all and act like theres nothing that can be done. It's been the wild west with little to zero oversight or accountability. Your point reminded me of that bank bail out and one of them gave all the tops huge bonuses and they took like a month vacation to a 5 star.

Champagne socialists know better, though. Their liberal arts professors told them what the working class needs (despite never asking or talking to them). It's like Marx writing his deranged, satanic theories while never setting foot in any factories and living off Engels' (the evil capitalist) money and his inheritance (that he wanted to ban for others though).

If you haven't noticed, we live in Pax Americana so USA is dictating all the trends in Europe where I am from.

When it comes to blowing nordstream 2, supporting Ukraine, feeding the woke mind virus, immigration, economic theory... It's all coming from the source, which is the US establishment of (mostly) Democrats. Yes, I don't have a vote but I have an opinon and what happens in US elections definitely affects me.

I don't care about micro-politics of the US and things like abortion do not concern me.

I am not pretending to be particularly insightful anyway. As a Ne user I just consume content, and now during election season there's a lot of politics meshed in with my usual stuff - which is more markets, finance, history, football (as in soccer).

For example I found this interview with Paul Tudor Jones really insightful.
He seems to think, whoever wins, the bond market might puke and say no mas. Similar to what happened in the UK in 2022 when Liz Truss proposed tax cuts.

Both candidate are proposing a lot of spending and cut taxes, but at the end of the day someone has to buy your debt on the free market. Foreigners are not doing it anymore, in fact they are net selling after US seized Russian assets.

So it's gonna be hard to find marginal buyers for US debt.
