I also call BS for reasons already stated in this thread. Yes, we CAN get really into Se, and I am one of those that do it when stressed, but our art seems to come from a different "place" than some other artists. As stated above, S types focus on the materials while we are focusing on a vision. Sometimes it's hard to translate our vision into the physical, but it's healthy and helpful (for me) to take a break from my piece if I become too obsessed with perfection, or if I get stuck. It gives me time to think of how I should continue technique-wise since the S aspects don't come to me easily. Usually, I will have an "Ah-ha!" moment and be able to finish my piece or else accept the imperfections.
