Why do people care about lossless audio?

Oh god yes, and I love uTorrent. My favorite torrent program.
 
I don't care about lossless audio, as I don't do any sort of manipulation of it. If I wanted to listen to something in full quality, I'd just listen to the actual cd; I'd never bother putting it on my computer without being compressed. I listen to stuff in 192-320 kbps, and that's plenty good enough for me, as I always use good quality headphones.
 
I just listened to a 160kb/sec mp3 after listening to a 320kb/sec mp3. The difference in quality was huge.
