Just making sure that there was no link being made between the poor bastard and Josephine's unfulfillment.
:p then say that. Instead of sounding like you're jumping to his defense, lol. I hope you're not offended, apparently sometimes I gotta defend people too lol

Don't blame your boyfriend for this; that's very unfair. He isn't responsible for your intellectual fulfillment, and nor should he be. This is nothing to do with him but with the way you divide your time. Just give yourself some space to be alone with your thoughts and maybe a book.

I'm interested in a lot of things. My tastes are eclectic.

Not sure what I can suggest if you want your mind blowing, though, I have no idea what you're interested in. Adam Curtis documentaries are always pretty eye-opening, though.
I said don't blame him, not that he was being blamed. It was an instruction, though calling it an instruction sounds a bit presumptuous now, lol.

Now I wanna know: what movies? what games? what music? where have you traveled? where do you still want to go?

How do you dig deep into Ufos if you do? What do you read or what are you watching?

Fair Points! This is about the specifics! I'll talk about what left a lasting impression. I'll avoid listing the branded pop culture juggernauts.

Movies:
Mulholland Drive - I was disturbed by the closing scene in this movie and didn't really understand what I watched. I had to process the film for a bit.
Coen brothers stuff: O Brother, Where Art Thou - I really enjoy. A Serious Man: This film broke me at the end. I was unfilled, pissed and questioning life.
Memento
Fight Club
About Time
American Beauty
High Fidelity is my favorite film.

Games:
Shadow of the Colossus
The Last of Us
God of War (2018)
Heavy Rain
The Wolf Among Us

Music:
Uhhhh lets go with Genre's
I'm into 80s pop. My mom used to listen to it in the car and at home. I started singing along with the radio around 2-3 and never stopped.
Pretty much anything 90 Grunge or Alternative
2000s era pop punk and indie
Common theme seems to be any era's teenage rebellion anthems.

Travel has been limited to the US so far. I've been all over the Midwest. I've been to Vegas twice. I want to see the US pacific northwest soon. I'd like to visit Japan and the UK in the next few years. I'd honestly go about anywhere.

UFOs... lol good question. Not much to really show. I've watched documentaries but they are not coming to mind. Here was the last thing I read today. https://www.nytimes.com/2019/05/26/us/politics/ufo-sightings-navy-pilots.html

Reading: Salt Fat Acid Heat by Samin Nosrat
Watching: Good Omens on Amazon Prime. God I love David Tennant!

Thank you so much! And thank you for defending me, haha ;)
Aww, you're welcome! Seriously, Good Mythical Morning.

Not mind blowing, but if you're into celebrity interviews, try Hot Ones.... they are asked interview questions while eating increasingly spicy wings, some are hilarious and some are actually really cool.

All good stuff, except David Tennant. Nothing wrong with the guy just slightly annoying.

Oh! Also H3h3 productions, and also Joe Rogan... alotttt of his stuff is great.... truly.

@Daustus

I've never seen High Fidelity. I just googled it and I'll have to add that one to my list. Solid choices on all the rest - especially Good Omens. I got to finish the book and get on that. lol

And high five on the 80's pop and early 90's grunge and alternative. Those are my go-to's as well.

I've never been to Vegas, the UK or Japan, but I'd love to visit all those!

Oh! I listen to a lot of Podcasts. I have a long term relationship with WTF with Marc Maron. He interviews famous people. Pick people you are interested in. He'll needle his way thru some of their armor and talk about what makes them tick. Terrible, Thanks for Asking is a new podcast I just found that I've been going thru the back log. They discuss personal pain and topics people tend to avoid.

I'll have to check that out!

Language is another thing that interest me immensely. Whenever I find some piece that links concepts together, be it understanding a structure, or the culture, that really sticks with me. I only really speak Swedish and English, but it's fascinating how far you can go with even the most broken rudimentary understanding of a language.
