Your biggest interests when it comes to reading and learning?

I made maps for the longest time. You'll need an interest/reading in all kinds of earth sciences for that.

GIMP is a free raster (photoshop-like) program which works well for this sort of thing
I didnt realize you could make maps with Gimp! I used it to make book covers and signature GIFs when I was on a Siberian Husky forum. I loved making stuff with GIMP.

I should explain. Those maps are technical maps with the biome & elevation data that I use while the history of that world is being written. I'll try my hand at more artistic ones when it's all done, if it ever gets done.

These don't really have any effects on them apart for some drop shadows on the elevation and glow around the coastlines - there's much more that can be done in GIMP.

I love to learn, and I usually read, watch documentaries, have deep discussions with friends and so on a lot. But that part of me died a little when I started to date my boyfriend (I rather spend time with him than with a book or computer). We have been together almost a year now and my brain is so hungry for something new to learn about!! My problem is that I have a hard time finding something that blows my mind.

Tell me about your interests and subjects that you are wildly interested in?!? (I have been reading about brains, psychology, philosophy and animals a lot in the past)

I like to learn about quantum physics. You can get some books that are pretty easy to read, too. It's so fascinating to me.
You might try it.
Also like YouTube videos on UFO's and The "End Times". (apocalypse), haha... Those are pretty entertaining and interesting, too.

As a kid I was big on Batman and Spiderman. It was a sad day when it occurred to me that life is more complicated than Saturday morning cartoons. I'm into politics these days because I don't want to see another war in my lifetime.

War is hell.

This was moving to read. I think I understand you a bit better Pin. Thanks for sharing!

I have been very into quantum physics for a while now. I like the theories and ideas, not so much the equations.
