  • Hah, Ms. Green Lungs indeed. I'm getting too old for this. Most people my age have outgrown the silliness and the wakes n' bakes. Better quit while I'm ahead.

I'm going to a Blue Jays game this weekend. Not because I actually follow baseball; just for shits n' giggles. Maybe driving up to cottage country for a bonfire. We'll see. How about you? Any fantastic plans for the long weekend?
That's good to hear. I really do hope you shake that habit. Don't want to ruin those precious pipes of yours. Speaking of which, have you recorded anything new? All this talk of a sexy voice makes me want to hear yours! :)

And yeah, I need to shake my other smoking before it becomes a habit myself. These past few days have been so unproductive.
I know, I had to make you choose, didn't I? I'm cruel like that.

As for cigarettes lowering dating potential. Gee, you think? Gone are the days of James Dean and the city-slicking T-Birds. Girls want healthy lungs on their boy!
One sin at a time, darlin'. It's either sugar, tobacco or sexy time. I guess you picked tobacco.
I can definitely see your point. But I believe in the ability to study the existing world well (perfect?) within limited boundaries - eg: the Earth. We used to do a lot more stupid things in the past. The tendency is that our understanding of all processes around the Earth will make it possible for such potentially dangerous actions to be fully modeled in advance. The more we learn the easier it is to predict and avoid unforeseen terrible consequences. I'm also pretty sure that by now all people who research this area realize they have personal interest in doing a damn good job, because otherwise they may self-destruct.
I also think it's a bit risky, but I'm sure the people who work on such projects will be asked for maximum caution and preliminary testing. About what it will take to change, well, a lot of things are already changed. It's sad that it didn't happen decades ago though, as it seems it could have been possible.
I'm sending you my reply in a private message as it is apparently too long for a message from a visitor.

    I'm sorry..
    ):
Right now I go to the University of Chicago. But I consider transferring fairly often. I can't imagine not taking eighteen hours to be honest, I like to be busy. I don't like to sit and have a lot of free time to think about past painful memories.

Is there any certain area of history that intrigues you most?
I love ancient chinese history, especially in regards to diasporas. So fascinating!

Really, I'm just trying to look like a very well-rounded individual for med. school. Double majoring in chemistry and genetics made the MCATs fairly easy for me. Except I no longer think I can become a surgeon. I cannot stand the swell of pressure as my hands slide into a living being. Feeling the pulsating organs underneath my fingertips and the blood seeping up from all directions to hold my hands, the intense warmth surrounding my cooler than average body. I just, I don't think I can anymore. Organ harvesting seems to be more my thing. I love dissecting. I love human anatomy, so why not, right?

I take it you want to go into teaching?

    I enjoy writing, too.
Ideally, I'd love to become a professional dog-walker and write but this is unrealistic.
It's supposed to take quite a few.
However credit wise I'm already considered a senior so I'm way ahead of the rest of my class. But this is only because of AP credits that applied and the fact that I take at least eighteen hours every semester and also take summer courses as well. I already have my minor in french done because I tested into a ridiculously high level because I've been fluent in french for as long as I've been fluent in english.

Surprisingly, none of the classes but basic science and maths overlapped. And that is only because they're prereqs for upper level required courses for each major.

If you don't mind my asking, where do you attend university?

What made you decide upon literature and history?
Haha, the higher pitched tines don't vibrate too well, I should sand them down. This one was just a cheapy, I hear that the ones that cost around $100 bucks have much better tines.

I tuned it to G Maj. People do some pretty neat tunings with them, though. I won't retune this one again, it is a PITA!
If you're asking about work, yes I work.

I also do the whole school thing as well.
I'm double majoring in chemistry and genetics and double minoring in french and economics.
However, I've been contemplating changing my majors to french and literature (ironically) and minoring in econ, still.
I'm just scared it's just too late in the game to change now.
Anyhow, methinks its time for me to crash. Night, night, hun! Sweet dreams of skittles and smooth, perfectly-crafted guitars.
