  • Well, things are looking up on the academic side. I am confident I'm going to get through this hitch in the road. It's just so nerve-wrecking. I can't wait to get this over and done with so I can move onto the next phase of my life.
And of course, today was going sooooo well... and then Mike decides to be a total douche. I don't understand men sometimes. Especially when you have such a fantastic relationship, and this whole "just friends thing" starts going swell... and then they get all bleepin' weird on you. Maybe if I was a total ditz and didn't know he was lying, I'd be okay with it. But lies of convenience just frustrate me. He should know by that I know when he's BSing.

Anyway... I'm glad that you're getting settled with school, and finally have something to sleep on. And don't worry, I totally understand the second-hand stuff. Our entire living room was furnished by things we picked off the street and at garage sales (hence the tacky gold and pinks) Febreeze and portable carpet cleaners will be your best friend. :)

So... enjoying life as an English major yet? *chuckles* Any idea what literature "era " you think you might be zeroing in on?
Wow, that's nice to know. Thanks!
Well, I actually may get a violin soon. I talked to one of my good friend's dad, an instrument hoarder, and he is going to give him his violin for a small price. He also asked if I wanted a cello (which I do!!!) but I told him one instrument at a time. I'm stoked!

    What about you?
Oy, classes! Good luck. Well...I've been influenced a lot by this forum. I've never really been the type not to question things, so I guess that's why I get skeptical. I've pretty much come to the conclusion I believe that God is there, and that God is love. I go to an all girls catholic school...so I have lots of views coming at me! In terms of social teaching I agree with it. It's all about human dignity, so it's not necessarily religious. I'm not even sure. I really want to believe, though, if that makes sense.
Hey how's it going? I saw your post about experiencing God's love and it really helps to hear that. I'm going through some tough times with that.
Things are A-ok. Just workin full-time and going to school full-time and yet miraculously managing to have time for friends and family and gentleman caller, with a few hours every now and again for alone time. Things are busy, but good. I can't think of anything I want or need right now so I've got no complaints.

How about you? What's new? How's your music going?
Hmm.. school sounds fun. I've always wanted to go back. You seem to be a bit of a people watcher like I am, and I always found psychology to be extremely interesting. Have you taken any classes on it?
Another thing I read a million dollar mogul say was it's smart to minor in a subject that you're not necessarily naturally good at like accounting so that if you ever start a business when it comes to your finances you wont be completely lost in that area and become solely reliant on another individual for that. I thought that was pretty sound advice.

Anyway, good luck on what you decide sweetie, and I'm glad you're glad with school so far.
I like MFee and definitely Andy. :D So many choices, and only one you! But most of my favorite people have more than one nick name from me. :)

So how's things in your neck of the woods?
"you got the right views on this, even if they come up with excuses for their answers"
--What did you mean by that comment? I'm sorry, I was a little confused.
    What is a "reputation comment"?
I have moved. In fact I am in the US now... although I am in transition and on vacation as I speak. It's been a bit of a turmoil for me the last few days. I am apparently not vacation suitable. As much as I would like to just relax, it seems the only times I am ever truly at ease or able to chill is around particular people, or in my safe environment. Since my "safe" environment is also in transient right now.... well things have been difficult. I am trying to be okay though...

If your name was one syllable... I think I might add an ey... to it... or best pronounced eeee... Like M-F-eeee I tend to like names like Ralphie... or Mikey... or Buddy... I don't know why but the eee at the end is endearing.

What do you think MFeee? What is your real name? Anything I can add an Ey to? I might think of you as that from now on.
Haha, my friends and I have an obsession with bands and band names. If there's lulls in conversation, it always comes down to "If you had a band, what would you call it?"

For the record, I think "minority funk" is a pretty awesome band name. The word that comes to mind is fierce.

Still working on getting used to the Mfunk, though. I'll just call you MF or Funky from now on. :)
Hmmm... M funk, huh? I dig it... Funny thing is whenever I see you online in my mind I always think MF... not Minority Funk. I have the tendency to shorten even the shortest of names...and I give people nick names all the time. I have a best friend whose names is Ana and I call her An.. that's how far I go. :) But I like M Funk.. it seems suitable.. I will probably still think MF, though.
Darn, you changed your name. Totally threw me off. Fantastic avatar!
Also, because I've always meant to ask you this, but what's the name of your band?
