  • If other people quit, it just means that it's possible for you to do it too. Both my parents were smokers. My mom quit when she was pregnant with me and never took it up again; my dad also put aside the habit shortly afterward. They've stuck with it. You can do it too :)

You do know, however, that you should probably up your chances with some physical exercises and walks in the fresh air. Get that dopamine and serotonin up! It'll help the cravings. :)
Bah. I'll figure it out. It's why I've been kind of grumpy and distant as of late. I'll pass.

(I just looked over at your friends list and saw test test and burst out laughing. I love that avatar)

And I'm sure you'll do fine with quitting. Don't worry about what happened before. It's a new day, a new week. Take it a step at a time.
Don't even get me started. The job is like hell. I'm really starting to re-think this law business. :/
And I have high hopes for you and the cigarettes. Any time you crave one, think of me wagging my finger at you!
This is pretty much it in a nutshell: http://www.everydiet.org/diet/candida-diet

And yeah, it was ridiculous. I got up, went to the gym, and after a lazy, half-assed run, I came home and made eggo-waffles with maple syrup and fried up some turkey bacon for breakfast. At lunch, we went over to my brother's and my sister-in-law prepared butternut squash soup and pita bread with a artichokes and asiago cheese spread. We went for a walk to the park with the girls, bought hot chocolate and then came home for dinner. We had ribs, garlic mashed potatoes, broccoli and carrots and a salad with pears, onions, red-wine vinegarette and candied walnuts. And of course, the caramel meringue tort.

And now you know why tomorrow is day one for DETOX. lol.
Just got back from my brother's place. We celebrated my mom's birthday with three HUGE meals. I feel like I've gained twenty pounds already. lol.

Tomorrow I'm going on a crazy detox for my skin and nails. My friend has been egging me on to do this with her, so I thought, oh, what the hay? Let's exercise that will-power and give my body it's long over-due oil-change. No dairy, sugars and gluten for 14 days. I'm going to die. lol.
    GEEEK!! Moi?
Hahahahahah....hell yeh! Going Sunday to see the movie and I'll be wearing those glasses. LOL
Yeah, I have the same problem with Chinese food. I should remember the names tho, because I only like a few dishes. :p

So what did you end up getting?
Yea, a couple of days off for Thanksgiving sounds really nice, now if I can just eliminate the social obligations. :p

I just confirmed today that the face to face interviews are still on for this Friday, I am expecting to get the job offer at that time. I will be driving out there Friday morning. I am going to purchase a new dress shirt and some new shoes, long overdue.

    How is your friend coping?
I didn't like spicy food at the beginning, but once you get used to it, there's something really tasty about it. :p

You don't have a personal favorite? Hmm, how about curry rice and some chicken or beef?
