Fantasy is good. a book about a lost and lonely girl that doesn't belong... hmm, I have read books with that archetype in it, (although not always the lead role) and for some reason, I always end up wanting to romance them. Your book does sound like an interesting set up, so far though my experience with Fairies in fiction has been the stuff Eoin Colfer, so the faries had plasma guns and stuff. (have you read the artemis fowl series?)
My book, is about an individual who becomes a philanthropist from and takes on mob bosses and fights the slave trade, and such while pulling his friends along with him in a whirlwind of high stakes endeavors all while maintaining an aura of mystery and intrigue, the story is complicated by a damsel in distress who wishes for something more, and doesn't think its possible, and is threatened by the very mob that our man is trying to bring down. I am going to reveal his past in very small doses, and well maybe that does sound a little typical too, but I am going to try and put my own unique ideas in it, so I hope it turns out alright. I have another one I am working on to which has much more unique plot but I have not done as much writing it yet.
Did you post excerpts of your stuff anywhere on the forum?
