not really, but they don;t have absolute power. They can get kicked out, which is slightly better than those who can't be kicked out.
it's ok, if anyone really wanted to find me they could anyway. I'm just obfuscating myself enough that people would have to try in order to find me, which means they probably had a legitimate reason to look so hard in the first place (job interview, grad school, or the such).
