Ah 4 months, 3 weeks and 2 days- such a good film! I love those types of films. It reminds me of Lilya 4 ever which is russian but it's kind of the same thing. God, I love european film! It's actually exciting to watch these films because you know it's gonna push you as a watcher and open you to new things, it's amazing.
I would really like to wax lyrical about films I've seen a while ago because I've had a lot of time to reflect on them. But I can't bothered. Anyway, I've seen Birth which is about a 10 year old who says he is this woman's dead husband who died 10 years ago. He knows everything about her and can answer all questions. It's such a good idea for a story and done very well! The acting is amazing and it's a quiet, low key film. How it ends is so well done.
Then I watched... The page turner! The one on your list. Lol, pianos again! I actually really liked it! So well done but it's annoying because I didn't want it to end! It's very annoying how it doesn't really answer any real question, that was pathetic. But it was good and the main character was hot.
Then I watched Children of Men! Have you seen that? Absolutely blew me away! Incredible set design, cinematography, story and characters. It's so good. Very, very shocking and depressing and it's set in London which is really amazing. It is pretty much how the world is gonna be in 50 years time!
