I'll post the link to dharmaseed in your blog - along with the names of the talks. Thanks for the idea on the Teaching Company. I'm going to look that one up. Yes - I listen to books on audio all the time when I'm on the road. Still - at my body's age - long distance driving every day takes a toll. I imagine if I get a job an hour away - I'll find some way to live there during the week and come home on the weekends.
Ok - more later...
Hi NAI! I'm glad to see you're still kicking ass and taking names. Although I'm sorry it's been stressful. New positions and duties are like that till things line out - right?
I'm doing good. Settling in to being unemployed for a while. I told Norwich it feels like I'm skipping classes in school - without the guilt! I'm focusing on taking care of me and my body - specifically. It needs this time out and I'm going to make the best of it before I begin the drudgery of work again. I have a feeling my next job will entail me getting up very early - driving one way for 50 minutes - working all day - then doing the trek home. I've done that before a long time ago and it's not good. So - in the meantime - I'm exercising and going for long walks in the sunshine. I downloaded several meditations and talks from the DharmaSeed site. Learning new concepts about the brain/mind. I love it!!!!!!!!!!! (I am such a geek)....Hahahahahahaha...I'm gonna read your post. Have an awesome day NAI!
ok good luck moving, and drive safe, awww, well you could always go to the library on saturdays, better than nothing. i hope the moving goes smoothly. *hug*
