I love your new picture!In fact, the core idea is I don't see, in lieu of something at least remotely like the qualitative, how we could distinguish physical objects from mathematical ones! I'm willing to entertain that consciousness is a bad concept, needs to be radically rethought, etc...but the one thing I can't seem to not insist on is that our methods of explanation of it are currently incomplete.I thought it through, and I think the major thing that differentiates my take on neutral monism stuff from some of the traditional presentations is just that to me, it isn't a matter of neutrality between the physical and qualia. Rather, it is a matter of the difference between the mathematical and the qualitative.
