  • In tempered scales, as all modern instruments are tuned in, all notes but the root note is slightly out of tune. This allows us to play chords and modulate between different keys. When using an untempered scale, all you can do is basically to play one note, and harmonize against it with another note, but those notes are then perfectly in tune and if you happen to sing it, the harmony will resonate physically in your body. The difference from the tempered harmony is quite noticable.

I could go on about this... but I will give you this example and go get some sleep now:

I'm sure. I'm sure. Another thing I really like is untempered scales, whichever era that is from. (They still use them in Indian classical music though.)
Yea I have ran into that before too, people that were previously trained in some way had a hard time adjusting to differences in a new environment, but that is so completely based on the employer. Some realize that the different perspectives offer opportunities for advancement.

I am by no means any expert in classical music or even music theory in general, but Sibelius really hits me. I am not a huge fan of the usual masterpeices (bach, beethoven, Mozart) although if I knew anything about music I would probably have a different view.

I just asked because I had yet to find someone else that enjoys it at all! You would be shocked at how many people don't like it. But I am also very attracted to Minor scales, which I don't think many people are. I started out by sharing it to a few people I talked to often, among all the other music I share, and found that no one likes it!
I am probably pretty far off from your average INTJ, so your inductions/generalizations from me won't work very well.
I did get it! Thank you very much! So have you heard back from that initial interview you were telling me about? Have you had a lot since?
I have only done some of the exercises out of the first one you sent. So far they are good! Looking forward to the rest. How have you been?
I hate gender roles more than the majority of if not everyone on the forum. My post is completely facetious; I don't see how someone can honestly think that treating women like pets is anything but sexist.
Quite interesting guess, thank you! There may be some truth to it, i.e. some distance which you noticed there; but as far as I know both kids are hers.
