Hah, I do the same. "Mama! Ide zaparkowac car, okay?!"
And yeah, I took Polish school classes in High School and kind of brushed up on my reading and writing, although I would get made fun of for how horrible my essays were. My Polish teacher could not understand how someone could read and speak fluently in a language by so horrible at putting together sentences on paper.
I'm assuming you did the whole Saturday school thing too? lol. Oh those Polish ladies who ran those classes were hilarious with their kava and ponchki!
Thank you, soulful - and He's always with us, even in those most difficult times. I have to always remember regardless, He receives the glory. It's Him who I must rely on, not me. It's hard, it's human to feel and hurt. But He's Sovereign, still.
I don't mind sharing. =)
I lived in Northern Africa, the Middle East, and now in North America. I'd very much like to give Europe and Asia a try. This way I'd be a true citizen of the world. lol
lol. No, I'm fine. Just had a disagreement with the floor. I went in to get some bloodwork done at the walk in clinic yesterday. After they took my blood, they told me to go sit down and make sure I was okay before I left the building. I never made it to sitting down. I woke up on waiting room floor, people hauling me up and one of the doctors freaking the heck out and telling me I needed to go into the emergency room for stitches and x-rays because I banged up my chin and possibly injured my neck. I'm perfectly fine. I just have 10 stitches to show for the whole ordeal.
