An Untainted Love Song Thread

I thought of throwing a one-two punch of Burt Bacharach...which for me is never wrong.

So a cover, from a time I was green, but already in love with the melancholy bittersweet. And the other, such a complex arrangement, and joyous chorus that really captures the mood, one of could-be happiness.

Cheers,
Ian

@Misty - This is such a beautiful thread. It is truly our feelings, especially those shared with another that give life value. Without these connections (love) the human condition would seem so insignificant.

When I think about love, I find the feelings for another that reside deep within my spirit and soul which exude outward through expression and action. It's so easy to identify these emotions within but it can be difficult to communicate so that another can fully understand how valuable they are to our existence. This is why it's also important to search and identify how our significant other feels and experience us--something that the INFJ can exquisitely identify and appreciate to the highest order. So, when I think of love, music is probably the most valued medium because it relays these feeling through both words and the expressed emotion of melody and/or harmony. In the recognition of another's expressed love we find the true growth of a relationship.

Here are a couple songs I have found over the years that uniquely express both sides of the romantic:

Some of the most valued treasures I have ever experienced is when a little note or act of appreciation was left for me to find.
