Clinton vs Trump, Trump vs Clinton

I have watched the entire debate again. Mostly as I think the outcome of the election may have substantial impact on where I live, in the UK and globally. I would have liked to hear far more on the environment, how to re-focus wealth and job creation across the world, more about diversity and equality and more on how to resolve conflicts, especially in Syria and Yemen. The human toll in those areas is immense, and I'm ashamed to say the UK is making large sums trading weapons seemingly used in Yemen. So in no way I am singling out America. It needs global attention.

On the debate, Trump seemed far more rehearsed and organized. He seems to have some problem sniffing, I am not going to get in to why, but after focusing on Hillary Clinton's health, his own seems something of a distraction. He was again, irritated and interruptive, he seems unaware that this comes across negatively to neutrals. He stood behind Clinton when she was answering questions in a very threatening manner. He should have been warned against that in his preparations. If it was unintended it looked bad, if it was intentional ?

He used less high hand aggressive gestures and tackled Clinton on some weak spots. She wavered at times and looked uneasy and nervous, with her 'fixed' smile. She stuck very much to the issues, and did not make such a big play about some of Trump's recent issues. It may have come across Presidential, but in a brutal struggle for power ? It may have been a chance missed. On a personal note, I think it was the right thing. Conduct in any election is not just about who wins one vote, in one election. It's about setting a standard for all of them, in my view.

Clintons body language was rehearsed and contained. She was disciplined through out, but seems a little straightended now, like she knows she's ahead and it's hers to lose. I thought Trump seemed more pleased than last time, but knows he did not land a knockout and is behind now. Again there was an air of defeat or resignation behind him. The arguing with officials we see in sports all the time, when a team or player is losing. It may seem a small detail, but details matter. Clinton recalled every one by name as she spoke, I don't think Trump did this once. If people feel ignored or marginalized it does not bode well.

Personally ? I think across the board, republicans are angry. They think this should be a tight race, and after two terms of the democrats, they should be better placed. With a more composed candidate, I think they would have been.

i loved the three min pre debate news thing

.... health care is going up by numbers that are astronomical 68 percent, 59 percent, 71 percent
Health insurance premiums for families rose an average 3 percent last year, according to the Kaiser Family Foundation. Premiums have risen 20 percent from 2011-2016, according to the Kaiser report. However, costs to families have increased even more because families are facing higher deductibles and copayments. In the past five years the average cost of health care to families before their insurance kicks in has risen 67 percent.

He lied about a sex tape.

He lied about his lies about ‘birtherism.’

He lied about the growth rate of the American economy.

He lied about the state of the job market.

He lied about the trade deficit.

He lied about tax rates.

He lied about his own position on the Iraq War, again.

He lied about ISIS.

He lied about the Benghazi attack.

He lied about the war in Syria.

He lied about Syrian refugees.

He lied about Russia’s hacking.

He lied about the San Bernardino terrorist attack.

He lied about Hillary Clinton’s tax plan.

He lied about her health care plan.

He lied about her immigration plan.

He lied about her email deletion.

He lied about Obamacare, more than once.

He lied about the rape of a 12-year-old girl.

He lied about his history of groping women without their consent.

Finally, he broke with basic democratic norms and called on his political opponent to be jailed — because, in large part, of what he described as her dishonesty.

In your opinion.

Yes that's my opinion, and I've never maintained in was anything but that. If you can bring some sort of argument which states that the direction that Trump is proposing is the direction America should moving in @the I would love to hear it.

Well it was a great exercise in generally avoiding every question and repeatedly saying the following:

Candidate A:
My opponent is going to make more bad stuff happen.
I'll give no factual support for that.
So much more bad stuff.
I'm going to make good stuff happen.

Candidate B:
That's a lie.
Actually, my opponent is the one who is going to make bad stuff happen.
I'll give no factual support for that.
There's going to be so much bad stuff.
I'm going to make good stuff happen though.

Trump, please stop. This is too much rape to handle.

Wandering around the stage, Trump makes the pronouncement "You would be jail" like his some sort of tin pot dictator who able to determine who goes to jail and who doesn't. If he is going to get a special prosecutor for Hillary he also needs to get one to prosecute Colin Powell, another one to prosecute Karl Rove, another for Condie Rice. The 22 million e-mails that just vanished during the Bush years and no one is investigating. There are a bunch of other Republicans that also need to be investigated on this issue, while he is at it.

"Their lives have been destroyed by doing a fifth of what you have done." A total lie

Someone out there is likely in possession of a piece of evidence that could be used to substantiate what many folks have always believed; that the current nominee for President of the United States is not a moral leader for us all to look to over the next four years.

This country needs that person to come forward and ensure that we all know the truth that is out there.

Recent developments have lead many to believe that video footage of Donald Trump exists which proves that the person we have all come to know over the past year is not the person that he truly is - footage that reinforces what we have all just recently begun to see more clearly.

There are risks to releasing this footage, including a potential $5 million dollar lawsuit, other legal fees or adverse professional implications.

This campaign hopes to raise the funds to pay those pentalites and reward the whistleblower responsible with whatever remains to assist them as they move forward in their career.

Please help us out and our committee will ensure that at least one barrier to this evidence being presented to the American people is removed.

Sunlight afterall, is said to be the best disinfectant.

We are a group of old friends and colleagues who are fed up with what is going on. If someone comes forward, we will ensure that all donated funds go directly to mitigating any legal costs associated with their whistleblowing.

Any unused funds (or if no one comes forward) will be donated to the Center for Investigative Reporting ( https://www.revealnews.org/)

I think you can argue that Clinton has broken the law with her email crap....but what has Trump done to deserve incarceration?

Good folks, make sure that you remember what to say or else you are not going to get a seat ...

VIDEO: CNN Forgets to Turn Off Mic, Records Reporter Telling Debate Focus Group What to Say
Matt Agorist October 10, 2016

Make no mistake about it, Hillary Clinton and her elite backers control the mainstream media narrative. However, the illusion of an unbiased press is quickly falling apart as multiple leaked emails, and now, a video from last night’s debate on CNN shows.

During a brief clip, which has now been posted to YouTube, CNN forgot to kill reporter Pamela Brown’s mic when they cut away. As the camera cuts back to the allegedly ‘unbiased’ debate focus group, Brown can be heard speaking to the group under her breath.

“America is great, because we’re good,” Brown whispers to the group in an obvious attempt to coach their answers.

Once Brown realizes she is back on air, she quickly asks a participant in the focus group what anti-Trump argument from Clinton impressed her most. Having just been told what to say by Brown, the participant quickly regurgitated her canned response, adding her own adaptation for good measure.

“She stated that America is already great, and I tend to agree with that,” the panel member says. “Though we are slow in progressing in a number of ways, we are progressing and we need to continue the momentum.”

As the Daily Caller notes, “this brief exchange is being interpreted by many as proof CNN was coaching focus group members about what to say on the air. Within just a few hours of being uploaded, the video collected nearly 150,000 views. There are other possible explanations, though; Brown may have been informing focus group members about what clip CNN had just aired (since they couldn’t see the replay themselves), or Brown could have been setting up a semi-staged response after previously finding out what the focus group member wanted to say.”

Due to the recent revelations by WikiLeaks highlighting Clinton’s control and outright dictations of the mainstream media narrative, the Free Thought Project is leaning toward the idea that this focus group was actually being coached.

Cant say that I am impressed with the answers but Trump has clearly won the last two debates. He is absolutely getting my vote and he better follow through with his promise to put Hillary in jail.

Brown may have been informing focus group members about what clip CNN had just aired (since they couldn’t see the replay themselves), or Brown could have been setting up a semi-staged response after previously finding out what the focus group member wanted to say.

The Daily Caller News Foundation reached out to CNN for comment but did not immediately receive a reply.

Update: A source at CNN told TheDCNF Monday morning Brown was prompting the focus group member about what video was being shown, so that she could react to it.

Bill Clarkin, a member of the focus group, also contacted TheDCNF and denied any coaching occurred.

“There was no coaching,” Clarkin said. “Pamela Brown was repeating the comment made by Hillary to us because we could not watch the live feed.”

Update #2: CNN provided an official statement from a spokesperson saying it was “absurd” to suggest the focus group had been coached.

“The focus group was not able to hear or see the post-debate segment,” the statement says. “Brown described the segment in real time so they would know what was being discussed. It’s absurd to think she was coaching the focus group in anyway.”

I surprised he did't make a Citizen's arrest right there.

Are you sure you watching the Presidential Debates and not re-runs of the Big Bang Theory? Because most people have given the opinion that Hillary has won both debates. Of course he can't follow through with the promise. @Eventhorizon, if he is elected President. Please tell me that you mistyped this comment in your exuberance at the thought of her behind bars and you do understand the rule of law. She has to convicted in a court of law to be put in jail. You know this basic foundational fact of you own legal system, right? Even if Trump is elected President, the President cannot just throw people in jail because he thinks a person is guilty of some crime. The United States is not a dictatorship, let me explain the concept. There are 3 separate and independent branches of government. Executive. Legislative, and Judaical which function through a series of checks and balances to ensure that a dictator cannot seize power and use it to further his own ends.

Let me know if you need any further assistance in understanding how your government functions. As your friendly neighbour I am always glad to help
