Metamodernism

I've figured out why I might be "metamodern" but also disagree with some interpretations of "metamodernism". I feel like I'm a very "meta" person, in the sense that I resolve dilemmas by going to a higher level. Like in sports, there is "the game", which is normally about winning, exercising power, mastery and strength, but then there is the "meta-game", which is about being a good sport, nobility, and acting in a way to cultivate the art of the sport, and to be invited to play even more sophisticated games.

What I want most is transcendence beyond our current polarization, tensions, and problems, in a way that doesn't dissolve them, but regulate them so they are both productive and aligned. I don't want to choose, I want to pick "both", but in a way that doesn't dissolve the space.
