I just think maybe the OP thought he connected with this list of people because he believed them to be INFJs. As pointed out, it’s more a shared sense of rage than shared personality. And, these are feelings hard for the OP to access on his own without feeling the safety of others. Hence, the shutdown.

There could be a larger point to be made that living in this incredibly divided country right now - there is a narcissist in charge and this is what they do - it’s difficult for anyone to feel like they belong.
