Because I want to let everyone discuss the (geo)political implications in the other thread and this one is my kind of off-shoot discussion of it.
Some background. This video references some of the alignments happening this month including the full moon today (1/3) which coincided with this operation:

And from it we learn that there is a big triple planet alignment (this came up in the earthquake video as well though discussed in a different context) which just happened to align with the full moon earlier today and the moon in the full moon alignment just happened to align with the sun in the United States national chart (On July 4th, the sun is at 13 degrees of Cancer.) Another write up on the full moon with some more detail is here.

In fact the full moon chart looked like this



and supermiposing it against the USA chart we get this 'synastry':



where the inner wheel is the US and the outer wheel is today's full moon. Full moons are about culminations and the culmination in this one was something having to do with the US as the sun and moon in aligned exactly with the US sun and on top of this we also have Venus conjunct Mars providing more opposition and more of an urge to act. (The Sun is also conjunct Mars very closely here which is initializing a new Sun-Mars synodic cycle. We had interesting things happen as a result of the last two Sun-Mars alignments since Oct 8, 2021.) So this is why the first video mentions this alignment having to do with the US and featuring heads of state being highlighted, although as we see the astrologer in this one focused on Russia while we ended up dealing with Venezuela. Not to worry - Putin's sun is at 14 degrees of Libra being closely squared by this full moon so the guess is not entirely off-base.

There will be different opinions on the operation and its success and meaning though I'll just focus on a couple of points here:

1. This represents an effective violation of international law (nor is it the first one in the last few years)
2. This action occurred during a relatively mild portion of the month with only this this trio of planets participating in the full moon. The part of the month from January 18th onward is more intense astrologically as is the entire month of February which follows it;

It is the first of these points that is the really important one as one of the expected effects on Pluto changing signs has been the beginning of a process of dismantling of our existing system of governance (and international law would seem to be one of the last pillars remaining, another one arguably is central banks) which would manifest in a variety of ways including by more and more actors "opting out" of the system over time as one of the initial changes. I've attached a paper from a couple of years ago with some longer-term guesses as to what we could see in the future (feedback welcome) which seemed reasonable given the kinds of alignments we would be getting. The view in this paper is optimistic since I have faith we will achieve some of the positive things being forecast though others are less optimistic even though they see some of the same patterns and sort of types of events happening.

Anyway, today's events are falling in line with expectations and are affirming some of these astro patterns. It will be interesting to see how the next 3-4 months will develop though it looks like things are getting quite dynamic quite early so that should make the later part of this month and the month of February quite memorable.

Yep, you nailed it. We have another union we can look at to see how it's doing as a comparison as well. The other interesting bit here is that this won't work now because of the transits but it may well have in the past.

I believe you're correct on both accounts. There is some strategic sense for the US to combine with Canada and Greenland. When POTUS first floated that proposal I though he either was joking or had gone mad. But then I looked at a map of the earth from the viewpoint of the North Pole (below). Greenland is a territory of Denmark, but they don't have the resources to develop it. And it's a net loss on their economy as they subsidize It's civil infrastructure for a tiny population. The U.S. has the means to develop it. On the other hand, the U.S. government is barely able to govern itself now, let alone a massive American Union. As a curious side note, my VPN shows connected in the U.S. via Iceland Is our government not telling us something?

At work we had this curious incident of a team working on our SAP ERP complaining that the google speed test was showing them connected through a slow/low bandwidth link and when we investigated it turned out the connection was going out from CO to the transatlantic cable and then bouncing through the UK and back.. it was odd to see and they didn't do anything about this for some time..

Yep, that is one of the points made in that pdf in the OP though it is not just the US, only in our case this was sort of our MO going back so we have some rehashing of existing ideas. The same is happening everywhere and in some places the rule of law is already collapsing.
