A few updates since the last was made in this thread.
The major points which were made in this thread and my own blog in some cases were these, and they correlate with the astrological interpretation behind the events we are seeing this year. Note that there are other ways to interpret these events outside of astrology which are also relevant and should be considered. Some discussion of these points may appear here or in another thread.
- This thread was created after one of the first events to kick off the year happened, namely the kidnapping of Maduro which occurred on a full moon on January 3, 2026 (at 13 degrees Cancer, which is significant given the natal charts of the USA and Venezuela.)
- At this time the highlight was on the fact that these events were suggestive of a further erosion of international law and that they gave us an early indication that some leader or leaders could "blow a gasket" and something crazy later on.
- This was followed by the massive planetary pile-up and new moon in Capricorn on January 18, 2026 which did not produce very visible events though later emerged as a key period in the planning for what would become the war with Iran.
- February was our inflection point. It featured the first and only exact pass of the Saturn-Neptune conjunction in 0 Aries and this was preceded by a powerful solar eclipse (on Feb 17) which strongly affected both the USA via its national chart and its leader whose own planets were being triggered by the eclipse. Within about 10 days of this two-shot of the eclipse + Saturn-Neptune the war against Iran started, on a Mars-Uranus square exact on Feb 27-28. (This square figures in the previous attempt at waging this war which also featured it along with Saturn-Neptune nearly conjunct again at 0 Aries in the summer of 2025.)
Interestingly here we find that AI conglomerates make a significant change in how they bill their customers - they switch from subscription-based to token-based billing which suddenly raises the bills for customers by multiple orders of magnitude making the proposition of replacing workers with these AI solutions much worse as now the AI becomes significantly more expensive for complex work loads compared to the human workers. This does not become immediately obvious and information about it leaks slowly in the months after February. This is important because the largest players (in the USA especially) have gone all-in on AI and they must end up with a successful outcome here for their plans to work out.
My short description of the Saturn-Neptune conjunction was that it would make decision makers delusional and cause them to believe in outcomes that would eventually turn out to be impractical and/or impossible. It appears that this has held in the case of both the conflict with Iran and the anticipated AI takeover of the workplace. Additionally, one of my guesses for this particular transit was that we would see an end to "it needs to be like this" actions from various actors trying to reach the outcome most desired by them. Instead, their combined actions would prevent them all from getting there and possibly driving all of them toward irrelevance or at least away from being able to control or direct the processes after a certain point is reached.
This is all coming as part of the transit of Pluto through Aquarius (pdf reattached to this post) which in broad terms inverts the power and governance structures such that top-down organization within these structures fails and causes said structures to crumble giving way or opening up space for bottom-up organization of a different kind. The ideals of Aquarius likely to be highlighted here are equality and transparency which are likely to become important in future politics and finance, particularly as this occurs in parallel with technological advancements which aid some of these new social and technical systems.
- Back to this year's events, on the day the war started (Feb 28) I wrote an interpretation on the Lunar Eclipse of March 3, which featured the Sun in Pisces opposite the Moon in Virgo with the two in trine/sextile to Jupiter in Cancer (and also Venus in Pisces during that general time frame.) The interpretation for the lunar eclipse including the possibility of a mega legal deal (because of the presence of Jupiter) which would be one of such proportions that it would be remembered for some time. While Jupiter here also suggested moral concerns behind this deal, Venus suggested the need for diplomacy and the inclusion of all affected sides (Venus in Pisces) into any acceptable deal.
While the interpretation was written before I heard of the war starting, this point involving Jupiter did manifest with our first document to be signed (Jupiter = the legal ramifications of the MoU, Venus = the negotation around it and overall diplomacy involved) which very significantly happened around the date of June 17. This date featured the Moon passing in between the locations of Venus and Jupiter in the sky which created a temporary 'enclosure by benefics' situation for the Moon which receives protection from the two benefics in degrees before and after the Moon's location. Indeed, the MoU's reason for being signed does have to do with the protection of all affected parties (especially when it comes to the masses or the people) as the disruption affected everyone around the world rather than just those native to the region where the conflict has been raging.
Very significantly the Moon aligned with Venus while Venus itself lined up to create major aspects with the 3 outer planets (Uranus, Neptune, Pluto) as they continue to align in the minor trand trine configuration which will peak in the second half of July. This is a sort of warm-up to this configuration as Venus here represents diplomacy and peace and is perhaps one of the mildest possible planets to trigger the trio. The fact that the MoU signing alined with the trio like this suggests that further and much more significant developments will occur in relation to the MoU and the functioning of the world when Jupiter advances to the degree Venus occupies in the MoU chart (5 Leo) and opposes Pluto as part of it triggering the grand trine as it reaches nearly exact aspects in July.
If what has happened so far is any indication, this will be a further departure from the still-current world order which now has institutions (such as banks and governments) which although they can make their people's lives miserable are no longer able to function in a positive manner where they bring in law and order or control the direction of conflicts they themselves started.

where at 9 minutes he mentions the kind of disintegration of the top-down control system, which is something that was mentioned in my Pluto in Aquarius paper. We are close, at least to the major configuration trigger coming up in a few weeks in July.
