It's been a few days since the last update and as of this morning we officially have Saturn having moved into Aries.
I recommend this aspect overview by Rick Levine for anyone interested in the larger meaning of what we are going through this month especially as the majority of it will be unloading in the next two weeks.
A recap of all the latest since it's been a while.
this thread started with a paper on Pluto moving into Aquarius which tl;dr is a placement which unseats top-down rule and control and the entire global system built around it. That system received a healthy (from its point of view) boost in the 2008-2023 period while Pluto was in Capricorn which strengthened the system's structural stability and overall power. We saw the worst of it in 2020 with Saturn conjunct Pluto (in Saturn's sign) where the controllers put the entire world on lock down and attempted to exert total control with synchronized media messaging.
This same messaging eventually led to a reversal trend which saw people understanding that all media is false and controlled from one central place (or simply realizing something is wrong with the media they once believed in, a problem the WEF 2024 meeting highlighted) which led to media and connected institutions losing credibility very rapidly and initially the beginnings of small bottom-up independent media starting to break through the cracks. Fast-forward a couple of years and independent media is now the norm which mainstream media more or less regarded as either unreliable or straight up propaganda. And this is a direct effect of Pluto in Aquarius which doesn't end with just replacing media.
Apart from the media there are other problematic structures remaining, most notably banks as they are currently set up, corporations and governments, all connected and all working together as part of that tyrannical global control attempt from 2020 [see here for how this was forecast back then.] Notably, we started this year with the background of this inversion on the existing top-down system already taking place at some levels though so far the action has been more or less brewing unseen with some occasional above-ground signs that something is happening.
If we imagine the system as a pyramid with the rulers at the top and everyone else at the bottom (with some levels of intermediaries in between) then what has been happening is that the rulers have started sacrificing the lowest levels in an effort for themselves to remain on top. Of course, each time they do this they themselves get one level closer to ground and this is the process which has been unfolding since Pluto changed signs all the way back in 2024.
A direct consequence of this will be that we have a chance of moving away from horizontal conflict and making the same vertical. Horizontal conflict in this case refers to the usual pattern of any one of us picking a popular side politically and then blaming another one of us (on the other side) for whatever went wrong, thus the conflict stays in the lower levels among people with little to no power to create it. We are moving away from this behavior and toward a more vertical conflict where we start to realize that we have rather more in common with others who might not share our political views but that both they and ourselves have less in common with those ruling over us all. Thus the conflict moves toward a position of understanding that we have been perhaps set against each other as a sort of divide and conquer technique by those who would like to profit from having things be this way. Again, this would be those at the top of the pyramid mentioned above.
Progressed Mars conjunct Saturn (both square Sun) in the US Sibly chart
Sun conjunct Mars (as well as Venus conjunct Mars) at 18-19 Cap as of Jan 8-9, 2026
Sun-Mars conjunctions are important because they project the potential for conflict arising, especially when they land at a degree which activates a leader or country's chart.
For example,
Oct 8, 2021 - Sun conjunct Mars in 14 Libra (conjunct Vladimir Putin's Sun-Saturn as well as conjunct the Sibly chart Mars-Saturn)
Nov 17, 2023 - Sun conjunct Mars in 25 Scorpio (conjunct Joe Biden's Sun and opposite fixed star Algol)
Jan 6-9, 2026 - Sun conjunct Mars (plus Sun conjunct Venus and Venus conjunct Mars at 16,17,18 Capricorn square the Sibly chart Mars-Saturn)
on a personal note, if you have planets or angles near 15 degrees of the cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) you've had a bit of rough time getting along with people since 2021 even if you made an effort to and now you know why. Anyway we can easily see these conjunctions aligning with both relevant leaders' charts and the US national chart in terms of some of the more significant conflicts arising in the last few years.
Thus we get to the events of this year, most notably the Saturn-Neptune conjunction of February and the solar eclipse which just preceded it. The solar eclipse directly triggered people in high (the highest even) positions in government in the US as well as our founding chart (the Sibly chart) by landing on the same degree as the Moon in that chart. (It can be seen at 27 degrees of Aquarius, basically the same degree as the solar eclipse of February 17.) As transit Uranus has been squaring this degree from 27 Taurus (while conjunct Algol, for those wondering why there is so much talk of decapitation and beheading even on the news)
of Algol:
Of the nature of Saturn and Jupiter. It causes misfortune, violence, decapitation, hanging, electrocution and mob violence, and gives a dogged and violent nature that causes death to the native or others. It is the most evil star in the heavens.
it should be noted that Mars was conjunct Uranus on the degree occupied by Algol on July 13, 2024 when an attempted beheading event took place on a public figure who happens to have the Midheaven very close to this degree - and that following this we have the latest war starting on February 28 this year under Mars square Uranus with Uranus again conjunct Algol for the last time.
The eclipse activating the Moon in the Sibly chart corresponds to a mass disturbance affecting the masses in the country, especially with Uranus on hand to square the lunar degree. It is perhaps a wake-up call of the worst kind. There is more bad news on the whole. The progressed chart for the USA shows progressed Mars conjunct Saturn and squaring the Sun in the chart. This is really bad and its made worse by the fact that this conjunction at about 15 Libra is closely square the most recent Sun-Mars conjunction at 18 Capricorn as of January 8 of this year which acted as a sort of trigger. (Those of you who have read my Ukraine paper are already familiar with this pattern as we had Venus and Mars cross these same degrees in February of 2022.) On the one hand Mars and Saturn are both considered malefics in traditional astrology, meaning that unchecked they tend to cause misfortune or outcomes which we would view as undesirable or negative. Mars tends to cause destruction due to anger, while Saturn tends to cause poor decision making due to fear. I would like to draw the audience's attention to the movie The Mist which features this kind of decision-making and its catastrophic consequences. (Additionally we note that the IC in the Sibly chart lands at 1 degree of Aries, which is basically the same point in the zodiac as the Saturn-Neptune conjunction we just had, which has now imported itself into the domestic fabric of the Unite States for the next 26 years although in a way which imports issues relating to other countries which resonate with Saturn-Neptune cycles.)
Thus by progression the US is almost pushed into war by combination of angry violence on the side of Mars activating Saturn's dark desire for control with both square the Sun (soul, backbone) of the nation being in danger. While this is not as troublesome as Pluto forming a conjunction to the US Sun (in 1928) it is a bad omen and has led various astrologers to forecast wars rather than peace in the country's future over the next decades. For our sake I hope they are wrong about this though the aspects are really there and they are not good.
Back to Saturn-Neptune. Saturn is connected to human psychology in some very significant ways and will be making an appearance in some of the other sections at a later date as an answer to some questions appearing there and it can be equally applicable to issues relating to mental health. The most common issues connected with Saturn would be ones which deal with depression or other chronic conditions based on fear where a 'shadow' Saturn would naturally attempt to overcome these issues by exerting a level of control greater than the fear it is encountering. In the worst of cases we will see this attempt at control reach psychopathic or tyrannical levels and we did see something like this during Saturn conjunct Pluto in 2020 where Pluto brought the worst of Saturn to an extreme manifestation with the global lock downs of the time. More ordinarily we tend to see mismanagement of Saturn in the form of trying to control outcomes by taking preemptive action which always brings loss due to the motivation being fear. (We could term this "it needs to be like this" thinking.)
So if we combine this negative expression of Saturn with Neptune's ability to create realistic-looking delusions we get something a bit like the plot of the Mist although in a bit of irony happening to those at the top who are in control. Seeing that things are slipping out of control they instead opt for preemptively trying to take the reigns in a bit of delusional thinking which gives them the belief that this will keep them in control. (Since we discussed cults in conjunction with Saturn-Neptune, we could also say the elite is performing a Saturnian sacrifice ritual in their bid to retain control, which of course is doomed to catastrophic failure.)
And instead we have what we have now - the system is resembling a bucket with hundreds of holes which is taking on more water than it can keep within itself and every further action causes everything to become even more unstable with the powerful making ever bigger mistakes. The outcome is kind of set with the only unknowns being when they will stop as well as the actual reason they will be stopped and what we will be left with when this happens. Prepare for more turbulence, especially this current month of April, and may we all see something good come out of this disintegration in the end. April 21st will be the first day when we can expect some kind of deescalation at least in astrological terms.
[There's indeed some good news in the form of these alignments although we need to get there first with the above taking place.]
[Uranus-Neptune-Pluto in the next 2 years]
This was one of the more interesting analyses I've seen recently
