This isn't about not being able to empathize. It's about wanting reform, making policing more effective in the community. Because there are bad police officers who are protected by the system. And we as tax payers are funding it. And that system is also bad for the good officers just trying to make a difference in their community.

Police Brutality is not a training issue. It is not an equipment issue. It will not be stopped with body cameras. All of these are tactics to distract from the real issues. . . police brutality is an issue of not giving a damn about the lives of others. .these are the bullshit distractions of racism. .
 
Racism is only getting worse, I'd say, just watching how people are acting. They have new city limit signs in Minneapolis. "Don't open your business here, because it might get burned down by peaceful protesters showing their true colors. Our streets are no longer safe for visitors. It's all about us now. Go away or pick up a brick." When people grow up, they will see their mistakes. Who will stop an armed military from taking over the streets? Who will fund a military to prevent it?

I must be stupid, too. Do you think gangs in the streets breaking laws are going to run this country? Maybe someone else needs to realize the unlawfulness of the mob. 70 Covid-19 testing sites have been destroyed. Statues have been painted. Childish antics, that of the mob mentality. They just don't have a clue. We are a country divided. Before the mob starts changing everything, others will stand up against them. There could be war. Is this so intelligent? I won't stand for it.

Maybe all these know-it-all's should have a city of their own to run? Maybe they can generate taxes by looting businesses. They will all get what they deserve. I'll take my wife and dogs somewhere safe. Who is going to make your meds? Clean your water? Enforce laws that protect people and businesses? Take away all your trash?

As long as the police assault protesters things will get worse. Portland is calming as they begin to stand down. No one is advocating gangs and mobs take over cities. But until police agencies get the message to stop the brutality there will be problems. Untill they stand and affirm the black live matter, no lives will matter, and if no lives matter, there is not enough tear gas or rubber bullets on the planet to stop the protesting

These are the things that allow racism to manifest in our society. I think people will most likely always be racist in some way, but if we hold cops accountable for their actions, make some reforms to a lot things including, but not limited to, police impunity laws, tax laws, political lobbying, social programs n shit, at least racism will have a better chance of staying in someone's head.
