The only thing I disagreed with is when he says that we are driven by wanting to bring beneficial change to the world as our main focus. I actually think that we are on the whole explorers first, living on the edge of society and observing with our inner eye - we want to understand more than to act and to shape, and we dive deep into the shadows of this understanding. We share this focus with our INTJ siblings, but where theirs is less personalised, we are more interested in the personal side of the world, and we fill it with spirits, metaphorically speaking. If we can bring some good to the world then that is a huge and wonderful thing for us, but it is secondary to this deep need to look and understand, and to be part of. It's like wanting to climb the mountain ranges of understanding to see what lies beyond - the new valleys and further mountain ranges and to feel the wind in our faces in the bright starlight. We find that when we return from these journeys and describe our explorations, most others don't understand because they have no similar experiences of their own to fit the words to.
