Damn it, why am I testing INTP *all the time*? It is starting to bum me out. I want to be an INFJ, not an INTP. ::mutters:: I don't even know any ENTJs or ESTJs and I don't tend to like extroverts all that much. Not for dating anyway. Hmm. But this is pretty much spot on.

Hey, read this INTP essay if you have not

This thread needs more INTJ

I laughed to myself, but I don't think any type would naturally pick an INTJ. /Sigh

I'm a sucker for INTJ men. The man who ruined men for me (for the time being) is an INTJ..

This is all terribly perplexing.

Tell me about it. After I took the Cognitive Functions test and started really trying to look at the processes and trying to understand what they mean, I'm questioning if I am an INFJ. After this test, I read up more on what my result was, and now I'm thinking I might be ENFP? A couple things don't fit but a heck of a lot does.

*sigh*

I don't even know anymore...

The Executive

In love, you seek relationships that you can grow and learn from.
For you, sex should always be exciting and experimental.

Overall, you are bright, energetic, and helpful.
However, you tend to be challenging and confrontational.

Best matches: INTP and ISTP

Do I agree? No. I like my partners to be a little extroverted than I am. I don't know why I keep testing as ENTJ's now..

Your Love Type: INTJ

The Scientist

In love, you tend to be very private and withdrawn - even when things are going well.
For you, sex is important in a happy relationship. Less important when things aren't going well.

Overall, you are confident, intelligent, and serious about commitment.
However, you tend to hold back and not show your emotions.

Best matches: ENFP and ENTP

This isn't really true about me. In love, I do get shy and I do sometimes stay quiet, but I am not confident, I have very little self-esteem. I am committed though to someone and would not cheat on them.

idk >.<

Ok, we are almost all testing true to type! My wifes an ISFJ, my former fiancee an ENFP. That figures!

Seriously? ENTP and ENFP are quite possibly some of the worst matches for INFJs. Who keeps coming up with this crap? The reason that so many INFJs are getting INFJ on this quiz is that we're our own best match, seconded only by ENFJs. A very large MBTI relationship satisfaction survey has overwhelmingly stated that NFJs are the happiest with other NFJs, and sometimes STPs. The NTP and NFP connection is just bunk. It might be sound in theory, but it defies reality.

Edit: I changed one question that could have gone either way, and guess what? Yup.

The Giver

In love, you give your all and feel guilty when relationships fail.
For you, sex is not separate from love and caring.

Overall, you are humorous, giving, and motivational.
However, you tend to be over-protective and critical of your partner.

Best matches: INFP or ISFP

This is a close second, but whoever thinks Fe and Fi pairs make for good relationships can't possibly be one.

I think a thread on this would be good. I know you hit on this before but I can't find the posts where.

I think part of the issue is the pairings are usually the letter pairings and not the cognitive function pairing. The letter pairings just seem to random to work. Like switcher letters or whatever.
