Adjectives for the Biden Administration today

How's it going Host? I hope you're in a good a mood as I am :D

Oh and don't take the removal of the Churchill bust from the Whitehouse too personally. Biden doesn't hate the brits he just finds you obsolete.
Well he's Irish, which makes him British.

Dead-ass, I actually believe that story of Joe Biden's.
Fascist
Guys, I enjoyed this thread today. The forum has been as dry as the desert lately, so thanks for the laughs.

Pin, you have a good sense of humor.
He definitely does that's why I like him.

I believe it was passed after China's harassment of Australia through its ties to their public infrastructure.

Trotsky's role in the October Revolution was pretty interesting.

The Winter Palace was a sideshow compared to how he was able to seize the infrastructural apparatus of the entire Russian state with only a few hundred men (train stations, utilities interchanges, &c.).

It's a severe risk, of course, so we'll have to see if the new administration replaces the order with anything - it might be the case that they had to scrap something else in the order, and those clauses have been lost as a by-product.

It's also politically expedient to be able to claim, later on down the line, that 'X number of Trump's executive orders have been reversed', if the Trump administration is to be regarded as aberrant and incompetent.

Obama spent a not insignificant amount of time talking about the dangers from China. I look forward to having my expectations usurped by effective actions. Not holding my breath though.

We'll have to see, but I'm hopeful. Obviously corporate interests will still be appeased whoever's in power, and my second thought to the rescinding of the order was actually 'oh someone's political ally wants to sell some shit to the state but they're currently disbarred'.

I watched the inauguration speech today btw and I thought it was good; I thought the unity messaging was exactly what is needed.

Oh god that's right. Biden probably doesn't see anything wrong with China, doesn't know or care about their bullying of Australia and doesn't mind the concentration camps. He just sees cheap infrastructure.

Well I'm just saying that there are a lot of possibilities.

If the Green New Deal is to be delivered (and I imagine that's a campaign promise they feel compelled to deliver on) under budget, then there are probably some parts that need to get shipped from China, even if we don't have to imagine any private interests at play.

For instance, I know that there are in fact very few places in the world that can cast steel piping of massive gagues, and China has most of them (I know this because losing the ability to do this to Chinese plants was big news in my home city, where the steel industry was a big employer in the past).

There's a lot it could be, but I think we'll just have to reserve judgement for now.
