Clinton vs Trump, Trump vs Clinton

This is the best interview, lol. Louis C.K. nailed, lol.

Guess I'm an asshole then. Louis is funny, but he also has the reputation of being a total perv. Apparently he not only exposes himself, but masturbates in front of girls who want nothing to do with him. If the allegations are true, and they probably are, he is super creepy. I know he isn't running for president or anything, but it is crazy how many famous people do terrible things in private. Whether you are discussing Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, Donald Trump, or Anthony Weiner, or Bill Cosby, Lance Armstrong, Aaron Hernandez, or Roman Polanski, does anyone with ambition or success possess any integrity? I'm sure some must, but obviously a great many do not. And speaking of the election, it would be nice to have a president who is not a proven liar. Regardless of who wins on Tuesday, the next president will not have character. An ethical politician is basically an oxymoron at this point. I should think we deserve better, but do we? In many ways Americans end up with the politicians and leaders they settle for and ultimately deserve. And in many ways in my opinion, no matter who wins next week, we all lose because we will end up with a president who simply cannot be trusted. I don't know about you, but that is very difficult for me to accept.

I am a fan and I have never heard anything negative about him over the years. The article below gives you background on how this rumor was started. He was never accused of anything. People made assumptions about who Kirkman was talking about and some of her words were also misinterpreted. But again, she never said that it was him. It's shitty how people do this with false information.

As for the trust issue and the Presidency...I am fully behind Clinton and I have no difficulty accepting her as our next president. We deserve someone who has the mind and heart to run this country and to move us in the right direction. And I trust her to do that.

Don't be an asshole or a sucker, Dang. Vote for Hillary.

Jen Kirkman Speaks to the Rumors She Inadvertently Started About Louis CK Allegedly Being a Perv

By Dustin Rowles

This is a difficult post to write because it concerns rumors that have been floating around for several months (or maybe longer) about Louis C.K. We love Louis’ comedy, although we have noted some problematic (INTERNET WORD) statements he’s made about his ex-wife in the past. We also want to avoid sensationalizing this … this is not about “taking down Louis” but neither is it a defense of Louis. This is about trying to set the record straight, as far as we know. It’s about reporting what Jen Kirkman had to say, but in order to do so, we must provide context, and that’s where it gets tricky.

You see, the problem with the rumors is that … they’re rumors, so maybe we shouldn’t legitimize them by talking about them, but on the other hand, isn’t that what happened with Cosby? People just kept their yaps shut for decades because Bill Cosby is Bill Cosby, and we certainly don’t want to dismiss any valid accusations. At all. That’s where it gets complicated, because we are willing to take the word of anyone who makes these accusations, but the only accusation we really know about is that of Jen Kirkman, which — it turns out — wasn’t so much an accusation of physical sexual misconduct as it was calling out a guy — who may or may not be Louis C.K. — for making a creepy pass (a spectacularly creepy one, according to rumors).

Moreover, we are NOT saying that the rumors that pertain to Louis are ANYWHERE in the same ballpark as Cosby. Just that … they’re very problematic, if true, and these rumors have been stirring a lot in recent months.

However, what prompted the other rumors of which we cannot really speak, was a “blind item” from stand-up comedienne Jen Kirkman from her podcast back in May. Here’s what she said on her podcast (which was picked up by Jezebel and turned into a blind item):

And then I had another guy who is a very famous comic. He is probably at Cosby level at this point. He is lauded as a genius. He is basically a French filmmaker at this point. You know, new material every year. He’s a known perv. And there’s a lockdown on talking about him. His guy friends are standing by him, and you cannot say a bad thing about him. And I’ve been told by people “Well then say it then. Say it if it’s true.” If I say it, my career is over. My manager and my agent have told me that. They didn’t threaten it. They just said to me “You know what Jen, it’s not worth it because you’ll be torn apart. Look at the Cosby women.” And this guy didn’t rape me, but he made a certain difficult decision to go on tour with him really hard. Because I knew if I did, I’d be getting more of the same weird treatment I’d been getting from him. And it was really fucked up, and this person was married. So it was not good, and so I hold a lot of resentment.
OK, so first of all, Kirkman did not say that it was Louis C.K. Everyone jumped to that conclusion based on the description (and based on other rumors re: Louis that Jezebel linked to). It makes sense based on the details (and although Louis C.K. is not married anymore, he was, and Jen Kirkman recently stated that this incident took place several years ago). It very well could be Louis.

But before we go on any further, let’s focus on what Jen Kirkman said about that blind item on this week’s Nerdist podcast, noting — again — that she did not say it was Louis C.K. She minimized the situation, and said that it was basically a guy who made a creepy pass at her, but nothing more. In fact she has since spoken to the guy, with whom she is still friendly:

On Kirkman and “this person” (allegedly Louis C.K.) hashing it out several months ago:

[He was like], ‘Yeah. I was kind of a creep.’ [And I responded], “Yeah, you are kind of a creep. That’s who you are. And God bless you. But that was something that was staying with me for a while, and I was having resentment about other things, so I talked about you on my podcast because I was in a resentful mood, and sometimes people are creepy …. so we talked, and that was it. I am fine because I was never violated. Never … I was just bummed, because it was one less person that I trust. And that person knows it. And I’d totally have coffee [with him], but I also still think [he’s a] creep, so I’d probably leave. And he was laughing and we were fine.
On what she meant by “ruining her career” if she admitted it was Louis C.K. (or someone else):

“If I have only so much space in a small press article and that’s all I talk about, people will hate me … it would ‘ruin my career’ in the sense that, if I were talking about dudes who were creepy once in a while, people are going to be like, ‘What a dick she is. I’ve never heard of her. She’s trying to take this guy down. With all this Bill Cosby drama going down? People just go, ‘Everyone’s Bill Cosby!’
Bill Cosby was a psychopath, this is [not that].”

On Jezebel picking it up and turning it into a blind item:

“Jezebel does all this sh*t, guessing who it is, and I never said who. I started getting hate mail … and then I took the podcast down because [Jezebel] was directing people to it. And then it was, like ‘Jen Kirkman Mysteriously Takes Down [Podcast]!’ And they were like, “He’s silencing her!” And then all of these people started emailing me, and I was like [to Jezebel]: ‘FUCK YOU!’ And they were like, ‘We can print this, you know?’ And I was like, ‘Print it you fucking c*nts.”
On why she started the rumors in the first place [jokingly]:

“If anyone is talking about it, it’s because we’re laughing, like ‘Check out this bozo who said this to me.’ We spread rumors about other comics because we’re dicks.”
On whether she has a “responsibility” to stop someone in case he goes “from saying creepy things to doing them”:

No, I don’t, actually. No, I do not. Because I don’t know if someone who says, ‘Hey let’s fuck’ is gonna rape someone someday. I don’t know where you get that. That it’s like a gateway thing. I don’t have a responsibility to anyone. My friend and I had a conversation. Sure, I made it public on my podcast, but I kept it a blind item because it was a larger story about ‘If you wanna know what it’s like to be a woman in comedy, it’s weird subtle shit that you have to think twice about.’ That was my WHOLE point, not to call someone out. If we get into name calling, my message is watered down.
To sum: 1) We won’t speak to the other rumors Louis C.K. because we just don’t know, and this not about them except so far as they relate to Kirkman; 2) If Jen Kirkman was talking about Louis C.K., he made a creepy pass at her, he didn’t violate her, according to her; and 3) the identity of the person doesn’t matter [to her], because that’s not what this is about [to her]. It’s about the “weird subtle shit” that female comedians have to deal with every day.

I think he'll do just fine. He'll have four years of media bashing but it's better than a woman who blames Russia for everything that goes wrong in her life. How is she supposed to talk to Russia now? Jesus, she's blamed them for everything. She's burned just about every bridge with everyone who doesn't support ISIS lol.

This is a sad delusion. Trump will be a disaster and a disgrace as a president. He does not respect or even understand democratic principles. He has no solutions, no ideas, and no plan to accomplish anything. He lives in a world where facts mean nothing and he has proven that he able to constantly delude himself . He is ultimately a misogynist, a racist, and a dangerous demagogue. Americans need to think, really think if they are considering voting for Trump. This is not a joke and it not some sort of protest against the establishment to "teach the elites a lesson". We was that with Brexit and now we are seeing what a disaster that is turning out to be. If you think the rest of the world will laugh at you if do this, you are right, we will.

As for Russia, I would rather have a leader that stands up to Putin rather than one who cozies up to him. Trump has already indicated that he won't stand behind NATO or the Baltic States and that gives Putin what he wanted without having to fire a shot.

All the talk about Hillary's e-mails. about Bill meeting the AG at the airport. All the million of dollars spent investigating her and not a single shred of hard evidence that could have lead to conviction, not one. Meanwhile there have so many Republicans who have had private e-mail servers and have used private e-mail, so many attacks on embassies during the Bush Administration and where were the investigations then? Nowhere because investigations are for Democrats ONLY, especially if they are women. How many times in the campaign has Hillary (especially when the sexual assault allegations have come out against Trump) had to answer for things that Bill did in 1990s? Would we asking the same thing of a male candidate? Imagine of a women candidate offered herself up for the presidency who was a totally inexperienced serial philanderer? How far do think she would get?

The small bit of information released to the public is enough. A nongoverment secured server of which all of her email passed through, classified and non-classified. That right there alone is enough. We can end right there
bingo.webp

I fully understand not voting for Trump because you dislike who he is. I dont understand voting for Hillary because you think she will make a good President. That is embraced ignorance.
I think weve gotten to a point in this country where we seriously need to reconsider the criteria used to determine who is allowed to vote. As we promote the prorogation of ignorance in our school system by turning a blind eye to it (common core and the rewriting of history into some bastardization of the truth etc...) all of America needs to be worried about where that will ultimately leave us.

No more mail in ballots and everyone votes in person on election day period. Only people with voter IDs are allowed to vote.

'Voter fraud'?

California man finds dozens of ballots stacked outside home

By Malia Zimmerman Published November 03, 2016

Two stacks of ballots that were found outside Jerry Mosna's home in San Pedro, Calif.

Jerry Mosna was gardening outside his San Pedro, Calif., home Saturday when he noticed something odd: Two stacks of 2016 ballots on his mailbox.

The 83 ballots, each unused, were addressed to different people, all supposedly living in his elderly neighbor’s two-bedroom apartment.

“I think this is spooky,” Mosna said. “All the different names, none we recognize, all at one address.”

His wife, Madalena Mosna, noted their 89-year-old neighbor lives by herself, and, “Eighty people can’t fit in that apartment.”

They took the ballots to the Los Angeles Police Department, but were directed to the post office. They felt little comfort there would be an investigation, and called another neighbor, John Cracchiolo – who contacted the Los Angeles County Registrar's office.

A spokeswoman for the Registrar said the office will investigate. Both Cracchiolo and Jerry Mosna told FoxNews.com they think they stumbled upon a case of fraud.

“Yes, there is voter fraud. We saw it with our own eyes,” Cracchiolo said.

In a statement, the office of the Registrar said, “We are carefully reviewing our records and gathering information to fully identify what took place. Our preliminary assessment is that this appears to be an isolated situation related to a system error that occurred causing duplicate ballots to be issued to an address entered for a single voter. We are working directly with the system vendor to ensure the issue is addressed and to identify any similar occurrences.”

Further, spokeswoman Brenda Duran said the Postal Service “has indicated that they returned all of the improperly addressed ballots to our office.”

Spokesman Richard Maher confirmed the U.S. Postal Inspection Service has offered its assistance. He would not comment on the number of incidents, saying only there are “relatively few.”

John Fund, a journalist and co-author with Hans von Spakovsky of the book, “Who’s Counting: How Fraudsters and Bureaucrats Put Your Vote at Risk,” said someone could easily have voted with these ballots using a variety of fake signatures.

“It is doubtful they would have ever been detected,” Fund said.

Von Spakovsky, senior legal fellow and manager of the Election Law Reform Initiative at the Heritage Foundation, said voter fraud is prevalent enough that it could make the difference in a close election. The Heritage Foundation, he said, has recorded 430 cases of voter fraud -- proven cases where someone was convicted or a judge ordered a new election.

A former FEC commissioner and counsel to the assistant attorney general for civil rights at the U.S. Justice Department, von Spakovsky said California is of particular concern because of the rising number of noncitizens illegally registering and voting in elections, as well as the “terrible shape” the voter registration rolls are in.

The 89-year-old neighbor to whom the stack of ballots was addressed is hard of hearing, and was unavailable for comment. The Mosnas stressed that the ballots clearly were not for her -- and have not even discussed the issue with her.

That is incorrect, but I forgive you for not knowing that.

Obama told me four years ago that Russia was my friend and the cold war was over!

As a CA resident, despite what everyone claims, my vote for president does not really count. Hillary is guaranteed to win the state, and all of its electoral votes, and the popular vote is irrelevant. I have no desire to vote for Donald or Hillary. Hillary will easily win CA, and should win the election quite handily as well in my opinion. Another 4-8 years of a Clinton White House. Should be a blast. Get ready for a series of investigations and partisan warfare. Nothing will change for the better with her as president. And as for Donald, how did he even win the nomination? He is a joke of a candidate. I still think that if Romney had run and had won the nomination for his party, he could have beaten Hillary. Compared to Donald and Hillary, Mitt is like a Mormon. Get it? Because he actually is a Mormon. Try to keep up. Have fun voting on Tuesday. If you vote for anyone other than me you are throwing your vote away. Say what you will about me, but at least I am an honest person. As for Hillary and Donald, not so much. And if Wednesday is the beginning of anarchy and Marshall law, don't try to steal my water. I own a bazooka. So back off.

A little bird says an indictment is coming regarding Hillary and the Clinton foundation. Even if shes wins the Whitehouse she wont be in it for long.
Theres also the suggestion the FBI went easy on her regarding the email scandal because they kniw what they have one her concerning this. She really is going to jail for a long long time.

A little bird says an indictment is coming regarding Hillary and the Clinton foundation. Even if shes wins the Whitehouse she wont be in it for long.

Keep hoping for this because the millions of dollars spent looking something that could lead to conviction have turned up nothing. Let Gowdy and his minions wantonly waste taxpayer's money looking more evidence that just isn't there. Good Luck @Eventhorizon you are going to need it.

Doesn't it worry anyone that it sounds as though Clinton wants to reboot the cold war with Russia... over a bunch of strife addicted Middle Eastern folks no less?

Cold War? My friends in politics are talking about HOT War. There are a few news articles about it, but they're buried.
It's... unsettling.

That said, Trump's lack of knowledge and temperament won't keep us out of wars, either. The potential for him to clash with leaders, even Putin, is very real.

I dont understand voting for Hillary because you think she will make a good President. That is embraced ignorance.

I don't know anyone, personally, who 'likes' Hillary and thinks she is a good choice for president.
A huge number of liberals were actively pro Bernie, and this was the case where people were afraid to support a 3rd party (democratic socialist) candidate because it was 'risky'. Now that candidate is out, and we are left with... Jill Stein. No. Hahahaha, no.

TBH, if a sound and reasonable politician from either camp stepped forward I'd vote for that person instead. Just move someone with the resume, who is a level-headed leader (and not a criminal) into the slot, please and thank you.

Every election people complain about the 'lesser of two evils'. All politicians are "evil". They lie, they manipulate, they commit underhanded acts. Our system is set up that way. This election is nothing like anything that has come before it. It isn't even a lesser of two evils situation, it is "Which completely evil choice is... safer?"

Part of me suspects we should be voting for the VP, the President will go to prison.

Do politicians need to be good liars to play on the world stage?

I can't believe I am saying this, but I would pick Romney in a heart beat over Hillary and Donald. He was considered a terrible candidate four years ago. But in this election, he would be like a savior. How things have changed in a mere 4 years. What is the worst thing he has done? He is like an angel compared to the two assholes currently running. He was governor of MA. And I don't think he is a pussy grabber. Too bad he sat this one out. Basically, and mind you I don't even like Mitt, but in terms of being presidential: Mitt Romney>Bernie Sanders>Jon Stewart>Hillary Clinton>Howard Stern>Donald Trump>Bill Cosby>The Antichrist>Ted Cruz>Me> @Milktoast Bandit >Satan>Ivanka Trump>Eric Trump>Adolf Hitler>Billy Bush>Hannibal Lector>Darth Vader>Axl Rose. For reals.

Exactly. All this discussion of her as the more experienced, reliable and "decent," candidate has me flummoxed! The big argument in her favor seems to be "Oh but she just seems more presidential, like she must know what she's doing at least with regards to foreign affairs because of the offices she has occupied [which she rode into on her sleazy husband's coattails]. Yet, her crowning political achievement in this area has been the destabilization of North Africa. She has consistently beat the war drums, and America is not the better for its wars right now.
