Corona / Wuhan virus

with all the misinformation it is hard to know what to do. But, I have decided that since I am in that over 60 category, staying away from places people gather is a good idea. So I'll do my walking around my neighborhood and stay away from parks. . not go to church. . shop late at night when there are fewer people. . and hey, I have new cigar box guitar, so I'll be entertained

The news on the radio while driving yesterday was talking about how difficult it will be for people to stay closed up in their homes for two weeks at a time.

I'm just happy there'd be less traffic. The elevators would free up and work would truly be peaceful. I'd rather be at home but being an introvert part of the skeletal workforce, i'd take what I can get.

Yep, pretty awesome stuff.
If this virus doesn't help open the eyes of some people to the huge wealth gap here in the US, I'm afraid nothing will.
We can't even get our Congress to approve a temporary 14 day paid sick leave bill.
We have no testing being done because no one has any tests.
We have President Lobotomy trying to xenophobically treat the virus as a "foreign" terrorist while it's already here and spreading - basically doing nothing at all.
But by all means - let's inject trillions of taxpayer dollars into the stock market.
I cannot stress how moronic our so-called "leaders" are.

What!? I just logged in to specifically post here. The schools, and many businesses in the area I'm currently working (south part of Indy) are closed. I just went to the hardware store for work and the roads are clogged and the hardware store was packed full of people, many with their kids.
