Corona / Wuhan virus

Things sound good though! At least considering the circumstances. That deserves a yay!

I'm well! I've had a horrible headache all day though. The I work with that coughed on me and called in sick was back to work today (the very next day!) He told me he has been vomiting a lot. I guess that doesn't sound like covid, but he's still a piece of shit. :)
Sounds like he has a tumor. Cough, vomit... Stomach flu?

This thread is the forum hospital. We need a doctor.

Idk if this link will work, but I do know that my ex said at her hospital, nurses are already reusing face masks and other PPE and they only have a relatively small number of covid patients. It's worse in other parts of the country/world. I can't figure out how to only share the video so it's a link to an article with an embedded vid that teaches how to make CDC compliant face masks. If anyone know how to sew and wants to help, here ya go yo!

This is why people sounded the alarm once it became clear that this was no common cold or flu, what worries me is that after the first wave there won't be enough to get through the second or third wave and we are left in a cluster fuck without any support. Governments can only print so much before it begins to lose value and the lack of preparation in the west and other first world nations is alarming. The CCP should be held accountable for saving face and misleading the world into a false sense of security.

I agree about the CCP.

The West will survive though. Fractional banking will be a bit of an issue but most countries can print and borrow through a few months of lockdown. Once there is a vaccine or a lull in the number of increased cases things can begin resuming normality to a degree.

Its going to be expensivve going forward paying back the debt the government will rack up dude to t the crisis.

Lots of governments have high debt and deficit as it is and this won't help/

People hate Austerity but if you don't do it in good times after a bank crisis when the next crisis hits you're not going to be able to cope as well. Or at least put a massive debt on the next generation (then again, that seems to be the done thing over the past few generations...)

Good you're well. I feel that headache though: is it the one we're all sharing called stress?
Not so sure a stomach bug is much better. Knocking on wood for you that you've got immunity to it. That guy, he's still a jerk.

When I don't have an inhaler, I buy bronkaid. They keep it locked up behind the counter so you have to ask for it and show ID
Had to look it up, that's Primatene here. It works for you? I was always mad that they had it on the counter marketed as a relief for wheezing. I had horrible experience with it years back.

The best home remedies for wheezing: hot tea. If that's not helping, it's time for a visit to the ER.
So is my mother. All credit to the medical professionals, current and retired.
Absolutely. My thanks to all the nurses in particular.

My DIL decided to specialize in psychology. She thinks she's going to be permitted to work from home if things get bad. I'm like :/ Sweetie, they'll be calling up everyone who has any kind of medical degree to help. You did rotations in the ER and surgery... guess what?

You say, ‘How’s President Trump doing?’ They go, ‘Oh, not good, not good.’ They have no clue. They don’t have any clue. They can’t even count their votes in Iowa.” “They tried the impeachment hoax. That was on a perfect conversation. They tried anything. They tried it over and over. They’d been doing it since you got in. It’s all turning. They lost. It’s all turning. Think of it. Think of it. And this is their new hoax.”

March 6: “Anybody right now, and yesterday, anybody that needs a test gets a test. They’re there. And the tests are beautiful…. the tests are all perfect like the letter was perfect. The transcription was perfect. Right? This was not as perfect as that but pretty good.”

March 6: “I like this stuff. I really get it. People are surprised that I understand it… Every one of these doctors said, ‘How do you know so much about this?’ Maybe I have a natural ability. Maybe I should have done that instead of running for president.”
