"weird" INFJ

The organisation is called Justice Rapid Response. They specialise in deploying experts for investigations and fact-finding missions for cases of crimes against humanity, war crimes, etc. They fight against impunity and promote transitional justice. I have to say that I'm very excited by the idea of working for them. I won't be one of their experts on international criminal law, obviously - more involved in securing funding from governments and UN agencies, and improving monitoring/evaluation procedures. Like my current job, it requires heavy use of Fe and Ti (meeting diplomats, etc.) but I guess I don't mind that so much. Incidentally, my current boss is an INFP and I find that her Fi is pretty catastrophic in that kind of setting! There is a disproportionate number of INFJs in nonprofits, I have met at least one in each organisation I've worked for. All pretty happy with their job, I think. Working for a cause can be satisfying for us folk.

Please tell me more about the jolie thing :) Meanwhile, I'll make sure to have a look at your blog. I understand that it's on the INFJs forum, right?

I am a French native. Henceforth, if you ever feel like I'm saying pretentious things, I'll have a solid alibi.
I am fond of Americans :) I spent quite a bit of time in the US for my doctoral research. Always was welcomed with great warmth over there.

Quicker and less humiliating than my gushy blog..

And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me." A fave verse

How do you feel about philosophical engagement with religion? I wouldn't want you to get hurt if I ever share a series of aphorisms discussing God (as occasionally happens). I am not an atheist, but I would consider myself an agnostic.

That's very thoughtful of you to ask.. Thank you Ren. Hmmm... I would just opt not to read it if I knew, that's all. Pretty easy..

Philisophical engagement within religion, or applying philosophy to religions?
I would say the latter, as far as I'm concerned; though I respect the former (theology) immensely.

I'm a weird one. I spend waaay too much time in Ni. I actually experience border psychosis on extreme occasions.
I think that's an issue I have as well. Do you loop a lot with Ti?

@Icedream For every ennetype there are general "base fears". For example the base / primal fear of a type 6 is abandonment. I think this is what she is getting at. What scares you more than anything in the world.. is the question here.. I think. Most INFJ's and some INFP's fall under the ennetype 4. For example I am an INFJ 4w5. My base fear is supposed to have to do not being unique or individual, which it also is for me too a big fear. But for me, I relate more to a 6 where fear is concerned, but I think this is because my instinctual variant is sexual. Why don't you take a good test that also gives your instinctual variant, if you are unsure, then read all the type discriptions and all the variant descriptions and see what really, truly fits you.. Only you will know the answer to that.
