there are numerous studies from the medical and scientific literature that clearly show thimerosal is not a safe substance. The following are a few excerpts from a number of scientific journals:

1977 - Archives of Disease in Childhood​

"Although thiomersal [thimerosal] is an ethyl mercury compound, it has similar toxicological properties to methyl mercury and in long-term neurological sequelae [a pathological condition resulting from a disease, injury, or other trauma] produced by the ingestion of either methyl or ethyl mercury-based fungicides and indistinguishable ... Since it is clear that treatment of exomphalos [an umbilical hernia at birth in which some abdominal organs push into the umbilical cord] by the application of alcoholic mercurial antiseptics can produce blood and tissue levels of mercury well above the threshold at which damage occurs in all other age groups, it is extremely unlikely that these infants escape neurological damage, which may be subtle. We therefore suggest that treated survivors should be examined neurologically and psychologically as a matter of urgency. Organic mercurial antiseptics should be heavily restricted or withdrawn from hospital use, as the fact that mercury readily permeates intact membranes and is highly toxic seems to have been forgotten. Equally effective and far less toxic broad-spectrum antifungal and antibacterial topical antiseptics are currently available."​

2003 - Toxicological Sciences​

"In clinical cases of accidental or intentional usage in high concentrations, thimerosal was administered in doses from 3 mg/kg to several hundred mg/kg. Such doses resulted in local necrosis [The death of living cells or tissues] at the application site and severe central nervous system and kidney injury ... In this paper we demonstrated that extending the time of incubation with thimerosal from 2 to 6 hours is associated with toxicity that was not seen after a shorter time of exposure. For this reason, further studies of lower concentrations and longer exposure times appear to be warranted. These results indicate that additional research is needed to fully delineate the dose- and time-dependent toxicity of thimerosal in sub-micro-molar concentrations and suggests that toxicity may occur at even lower doses than those utilized in these experiments, with longer times of exposure. Because mercury can be retained in body organs for months to years, the study of longer incubation times is warranted."​

2003 - Archives of toxicology​

"In conclusion, thimerosal induced strong effects in the cytochalasin B in vitro [outside the living organism] micronucleus test in human lymphocytes ... Since thimerosal was repeatedly shown to be genotoxic [damaging to DNA] in vitro and in vivo [inside the living organism], there is reason for concern about its widespread use."​

2004 - Toxicology​

"Both thimerosal and methylmercury increased the [Ca2+]i and oxidative stress in cerebellar granule cells. In rat cerebellar granule neurons, the increase in [Ca2+]i induces an increase in oxidative stress while the oxidative stress increases the [Ca2+]i. It is a possibility that uncontrolled and sustained elevation of [Ca2+]I increases the formation of reactive oxygen species that induce a further increase in [Ca2+]i. If so, such insults induced by thimerosal and methylmercury would lead to cell injury or death in brain neurons ... In can be concluded that the potency of thimerosal to induce cytotoxic [substances that are toxic to cells] action on brain neurons dissociated from 2-week-old rats under the in vitro conditions is similar to that of methylmercury."​

2005 - NeuroToxicology​

"In both cell lines, a progressive increase in cytotoxicity [decrease in viability] was observed when Thimerosal dose was progressively doubled from 2.5 μmol/L [micromoles per liter] to 5, 10, and 20 μmol/L. Viability was reduced more than 50% in both cell lines with exposure to 10 μmol/L Thimerosal and less than 10% of cells survived a dose of 20 μmol/L. Thimerosal induces oxidative stress and apoptosis [programmed cell death] by activating mitochondrial cell death pathways. A subsequent study using cultured human neuron and fibroblast cell lines similarly showed that low micromolar concentrations of Thimerosal induced DNA strand breaks, caspase-3 activation, membrane damage and cell death."​

2007 - Journal of Toxicology and Environmental Health​

"The high order of toxicity from Thimerosal and its ethylmercury breakdown product has been known and published for decades. Nonetheless, Thimerosal remains in the drug supply, especially in various vaccines manufactured both for the United States and globally. The ubiquitous and largely unchecked place of Thimerosal in pharmaceutical products, therefore, represents a medical crisis in the modern day. Reforms in the manufacture and the licensing of vaccines and other drugs, which should have been accomplished proactively, had anyone properly assessed their mercury content, must now be conducted, reactively, under significant systemic stress. With no warning, recall, or ban of mercury in vaccines and other drugs as of yet, the victim of this mandated, unwarranted, and massive mercury exposure is still an unsuspecting public, and most especially its unborn and newborn children."​

2007 - Anales de la Facultad de Medicina​

"Due to the vast gaps in knowledge of thimerosal's pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, as its toxic properties over the immune system, it is required to make more studies of quantitative character in animal models as soon as possible. Nevertheless, while it is true, it is difficult to extrapolate these findings to other animal experimentation groups and over human beings, our results, as the multiple scientific evidence recently published about thimerosal, clearly indicates the toxic nature of this substance, at the same dose and the same chronology as human immunizations; therefore we suggest the employment of alternative preservatives in vaccines, especially those intended to pregnant women, neonates, and small children based in the prevention and precaution principles of all medical interventions."​

2008 - Neuroendocrinology Letters​

"Thimerosal has been recognized by the California Environmental Protection Agency, Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment as a developmental toxin. This implies that Thimerosal may produce birth defects, low birth weight, biological dysfunctions, or psychological or behavior deficits that become manifest as the child grows. Maternal exposure during pregnancy may disrupt the development or even cause the death of the fetus. ... It is clear from these data that additional ND research should be undertaken in the context of evaluating mercury-associated exposures, especially from Thimerosal containing Rho(D)-immune globulins administered during pregnancy. Further studies should also be undertaken in additional databases/registries to assess the compatibility of the present results with trends in NDs in other US populations, and to observe whether Thimerosal-containing Rho(D)-immune globulins were associated with other birth defects in children. ... CONCLUSION: This study associates TCR [Thimerosal (49.55% mercury by weight) - containing Rho(D) immune globulins] exposure with some NDs [neurodevelopmental disorders] in children."​

2008 - International Journal of Risk & Safety in Medicine​

"Biological findings in autism that are consistent with mercury poisoning include elevated oxidative stress, depleted levels of glutathione, neurochemical irregularities, gastro-intestinal distress, immune dysregulation and generalized and neural inflammation. All of these are also well documented effects of
mercury poisoning and, specifically, mercury poisoning in infants ... Autism is a modern disease. It was first identified in the late 1930s and reported in 1943 by Kanner. It is important to place the arrival and subsequent epidemic growth of autism into the historical context of environmental exposure to mercury. Therefore, it is important to acknowledge that the commencement of widely available vaccinations (containing mercury) commenced in the 1930s. Additionally, the early 1900s saw the increasing availability and popularity of dental care where mercury amalgam fillings were the dominant restorative material ... The existing scientific literature provides grounds for strong suspicion that mercury plays a causal role in the development of autism. Given this suspicion, and the severe nature, devastating lifelong impact and extremely high prevalence of autism, it would be negligent to continue to expose pregnant and nursing mothers and infant children to any amount of avoidable mercury. Health authorities worldwide should move without hesitation to ban and remove all mercury in all medical products at the earliest possible date."​

2009 - Behavioral and Brain Functions​

"A disruption of the GSH (glutathione) system by mercury leads to GSH depletion and cell destruction. An in vitro study of Jurkat T cells exposed to thimerosal demonstrated concentration-dependent apoptosis. It was found that the mercury moiety [part of the molecule], not the thiosalicylic acid moiety, of thimerosal was responsible for glutathione depletion. GSH depletion is linked to several neurodegenerative disorders."​

2009 - NeuroToxicology​

Our study design does not enable us to determine whether it is the vaccine per se, the exposure to Th [thimerosal], or a combination of both that is causing the observed effects. None-the-less, the developing brain is considered the most vulnerable organ to mercury exposure, and experimental studies suggest that the brainstem - whose function is central to the reflexes described herein - may be one of the more sensitive targets ... Since the acquisition of motor reflexes is controlled by the brainstem, it is possible that very early exposure to ethyl mercury may adversely affect the emerging brainstem function ... this study provides preliminary evidence of abnormal early neurodevelopmental responses in male infant rhesus macaques [type of monkey] receiving a single dose of Th-containing [Thimerosal containing] HB [Hepatitis B] vaccine at birth and indicates that further investigation is merited."​

There are still more studies not included in this article simply because the volume of information would be overwhelming, but the Material Data Safety Sheets and these scientific excerpts speak for themselves - Thimerosal is clearly a dangerous substance.​

What the authors of that 1948 study probably didn't know when they said "If avoidance of the inconvenience of the average attack of pertussis is all that is expected" was that the historical data shows the death rate from pertussis had already fallen by 99% by the time they were writing their article and that their call to "diminish the hazard" of the vaccine would be apparently largely unheeded.​

Historic Data Shows Vaccines Not Key in Declines in Death from Disease

Many of us have a picture of the 1800s that has been colored by a myriad of filters that have led us to a nostalgic and romantic view of that era. We picture a time where gentleman callers came to call upon a well-dressed lady in a finely furnished parlor. We imagine a time where people leisurely drifted down a river on a paddle wheel riverboat while sipping mint juleps and a time of more elegant travel aboard a steam train traveling through the countryside. We picture an elegant woman dressed in a long flowing gown leaving a sleek horse drawn carriage with the aid of a well-dressed man in a top hat. We think of those times where life was simple, ordered, in a near utopian world free of the many woes that plague modern society.

But if we remove those filters and cast a more objective light upon that time a different view emerges. Now imagine a world where workplaces had no health, safety, or minimum wage laws. It was a time where people put in 12 to 16 hours a day at the most tedious menial labor. Imagine bands of children roaming the streets out of control because their parents are laboring long days. Picture the city of New York surrounded not by suburbs, but by rings of smoldering garbage dumps and shantytowns. Imagine cities where hogs, horses, and dogs and their refuse were commonplace in the streets. Many infectious diseases were rampant throughout the world and in particular in the larger cities. This is not a description of the Third World, but was a large portion of America and other western cities only a century or so ago.​

Our perceptions of history encompass a lot of willful rejection of knowledge. It is easier and more convenient to wax nostalgically rather than acknowledge an uncomfortable reality. We insist on creating a more pleasant historical illusion, but by doing so we cloud a historical issue in a way that promotes a bad misunderstanding of the past, and has every potential to result in bad misunderstandings of the future.​

1807-1812: Glasgow, England - Measles accounts for 11% of all deaths.​

1830s: United States - Eastern seaboard cities have a mortality rate from tuberculosis of 400 per 100,000.​

1845-1850: Ireland - Great Famine claims approximately 2 million lives, some from starvation, but far more from typhus and other epidemics consequent upon malnutrition and social collapse.​

1854: New York City - Nearly 2,500 people are killed by cholera.​

1847-1861: 2,589,843 Russians contract Cholera and over 1,000,000 die.​

1861-1865: American Civil War - The Union Army loses 186,216 men to disease, twice the number killed in action; nearly half were claimed by typhoid and dysentery.​

1855: Yellow fever rages in Norfolk and Portsmouth Virginia, Louisiana, and Mississippi. In the Virginia plague area one out of five die of the fever, its victims buried wholesale in trenches without coffins. ​

1865: New York City - Fifteen thousand tenement houses have been built, many of which are hardly more than "fever nests".​

1867-1872: Hospice des Enfants Assistés reports 1,256 cases of measles and 612 deaths with a mortality of 49%. Malnutrition was known to be rife in orphanages at the time.​

1871: A terrible smallpox epidemic which threw both New York and Philadelphia into morning. It killed over eight hundred people in the former city, more than ever before in its history, while the latter the deaths nearly reached two thousand.​

1871-1872: England - Smallpox epidemic 42,200 deaths suggesting 200,000 or more cases.​

Europe - One of the worst epidemics in European smallpox history. ​

Prussia - Great smallpox epidemic. Despite strict vaccination laws 69,839 die from smallpox more than in any other northern state. ​

Chicago - Despite a high vaccination rate, over two thousand people contract smallpox and more than a fourth of these die. The fatality among children under five is the highest ever recorded.​

1873: Memphis - Suffers attacks of yellow fever, smallpox, and cholera simultaneously. People flee the city leaving half of the houses vacant.​

1874: Bloomington, Illinois - All kinds of garbage and human and animal waste had been thrown into small streams running into Sugar Creek and became known as the "North and South Sloughs". Over the years the Sloughs "became a ... sodden pool of stench that was the breeding places for disease ... because it drained sewage into the community's primary water source, Sugar Creek."​

These historic points show that infectious diseases were a constant and deadly threat during these times. England was the country that early in 1838 began to keep statistics on causes of death and is the best source to find out the devastating impact of these infectious diseases. Using this raw data a number of graphs were generated to understand these plagues.​

Measles was one of the very potent infectious killers. As the graph clearly shows deaths were rampant throughout the 1800s and then began a rapid decline and virtually became a relatively benign disease by the mid 1900s causing very few deaths. By the time the measles vaccine was introduced approximately in 1968 the death rate for measles had fallen by over 99%.​

Whooping cough, also known as pertussis, was an infectious killer on par with measles killing many people throughout the 1800s. Similar to measles a slow and steady decline began in the late 1800s becoming much less of a deadly threat by the mid 1900s. By the time the whooping cough vaccine was introduced the 1950s the death rate had also fallen by over 99%.​

Scarlet fever was twice the killer that measles and whooping cough were during the 1800s. Similar to measles and whooping cough, scarlet fever also made a rapid fall in death rate starting in the late 1800s and becoming virtually benign by the mid 1900s. Although a scarlet fever vaccine was patented in 1924 it was never in widespread use.​

A lesser but still major killer than measles, whooping cough, or scarlet fever was smallpox. Smallpox like scarlet fever became exceptionally deadly periodically interestingly in somewhat synchronized with scarlet fever. In the late 1700s a man by the name of Edward Jenner created a vaccine he believed would protect against smallpox. Jenner believed that if he could inject someone with cowpox, the germs from the cowpox would make the body able to defend itself against the dangerous smallpox. However for the next 80 years despite strong vaccination laws in England smallpox continued to take many lives culminating with a massive smallpox pandemic in 1872. Again, similar to the other infectious diseases already discussed the death rate from smallpox finally began to decline by the late 1800s and became less of a killer by the early 1900s.​

This historic research shown in the form of these graphs clearly demonstrates that vaccines were not the key factors in the reduction in deaths from these deadly diseases. Both whooping cough and measles death rates had fallen by 99% before the introduction of vaccines. A much bigger killer, scarlet fever, had its death rate also declined into virtual obscurity without the use of any vaccine. Smallpox remained a significant killer despite having a vaccine in use for approximately 80 years and then that disease's death rate declined along at the same time as the other infectious diseases.​

The Vaccine War: A Forgotten History

As I watched the recent Frontline presentation, The Vaccine War, it was apparent that certain facts were omitted as they frequently are in any public discussion on vaccines. The program mainly focused on the concerns of parents and activists and presented various vaccine proponents that indicated that while the parents and activists might be well meaning they were misguided in their beliefs.

The activists, such as Jim Carey and Jenny McCarthy, presented stories where children, sometimes almost immediately, suffered some type of serious neurologic reaction after vaccination. The vaccine advocates countered that there was no scientific evidence of harm and that vaccines have enjoyed a long history of safety and effectiveness.​

The mercury based vaccine ingredient, Thimerosal, was discussed. Thimerosal was once used in many vaccines exceeding the EPA safety levels of mercury for a child receiving a standard immunization schedule. Although officially removed from many vaccines, Thimerosal still remains in a certain vaccines such as the flu vaccine as well as in vaccines used outside the United States. Again, the vaccine proponents made assurances that Thimerosal was safe however the numerous studies show it to be neurotoxic where not presented.​

Even the manufacturer of Thimerosal, Elli Lilly's own Material Safety Data Sheet or MSDS states the toxicity of Thimerosal.​

"Section 3: Hazards Identification - ... Exposure to mercury in utero and in children may cause mild to severe mental retardation and mild to severe motor coordination impairment."​

Another vaccine ingredient, aluminum, was not mentioned. A recent study in Journal of Inorganic Biochemistry showed it to also be neurotoxic. "Overall, the results reported here mirror previous work that has clearly demonstrated that aluminum, in both oral and injected forms, can be neurotoxic." I followed up with Professor Shaw the lead author of the study asking him "knowing what you know about aluminum from your research would you personally use a vaccine that contains aluminum?" He responded "No, and I don't."​

Other topics such as millions of people receiving vaccines that were contaminated with Simian Virus 40 (SV40), the actual science behind the manufacturing process of making vaccines using monkey kidneys or other medium for growing microbes, the other vaccines ingredients such as formaldehyde, the revolving door between the pharmaceutical industry and governmental organizations such as the CDC, and many other issues were only lightly touched upon or completely absent from the program.​

Vaccines are considered by many to be one of the major wonders of modern medicine. Paul Offit, MD stated "vaccines have increased our lifespan by 30 years." Vaccines have been credited with the eradication of infectious diseases that plagued mankind for centuries. Similar statements have been made by various officials what is the actual proof that this is true?​

If someone wanted to prove an intervention works on a population a reasonable method would be to gather statistics over time, then introduce the item to be tested, and then to gather further statistical information. The statistical information gathered would then prove or disprove your theory. In the case of vaccines, one of the key desired effects is to prevent death. Therefore, examining the very well documented mortality statistics before and after the introduction of a vaccine would be the way to validate vaccines were instrumental in preventing death from disease.​

Curiously, when I went to find this type of information it is all but absent from the CDC website and scientific studies. There are statements that there were more death and disease before a given vaccine and less after, but this only represents a limited set of data points and is effectively worthless in understanding disease trends and proving vaccines were key in mortality decline from infectious diseases.​

I did find a chapter in Infectious Diseases: A Modern Treatise of Infection Processes that actually did provide a graph of measles disease and death rates starting in 1912 up to 1975. The authors use this graph to state "the attenuated live virus vaccines are highly effective, as shown by the decline in frequency of the disease." The graph shows a steady decline in deaths from the measles to the time the measles vaccine became available where there was a further decline. The decline after the measles vaccine was introduced was relatively small and the authors had to graph the data on a logarithmic plot to make the change noticeable.​

Amazingly, the authors overlooked something that is very important from their own graph. What their data shows is a large 98.6% decrease in death from measles from 1912-1963 when the measles vaccine was introduced. Further research confirmed the information as seen in the following graph.​

This amazing drop in measles death rate has astoundingly gone virtually unnoticed.​

England and Wales began keeping mortality statistics ever earlier than the United States starting in 1838. Again there was the same pattern in the immense decline in death from measles which began in the late 1800s. From a peak of 70.49 deaths per 100,000 in 1839 to 0.11 deaths per 100,000 in 1968 when measles vaccination started in England there is an impressive 99.8% decline in the death rate from measles.​

A similar picture emerges upon further examination of the statistics from England and Wales for Pertussis commonly referred to as Whooping Cough. From a peak of 61.90 deaths per 100,000 in 1861 to 0.20 in 1955 when the whooping cough vaccine came into use. Again there is a massive 99.6% decrease in mortality from whooping cough before the vaccine was introduced. In fact, the same pattern emerges for all infectious diseases - measles, whooping cough, scarlet fever, and diphtheria - all showed a decline in mortality starting in the late 1800s.​

Even smallpox, that interestingly was in some apparent synchronicity with the biggest killer of all scarlet fever, did not begin its decline until the late 1880s over 70 years after Edward Jenner, the father of modern vaccination, made his observations in 1798. Despite strict vaccination laws in England smallpox raged on in epidemics culminating in the large 1872 pandemic. All infectious diseases began their decline in the late 1800s well before vaccines were developed with the exception of the smallpox vaccine that showed no effect on these 1800s smallpox epidemics. In the case of scarlet fever there was no vaccine used at all with this deadly disease fading away over time.​

So the big and obvious question is what did cause the eradication of infectious diseases if vaccines had little to do with it?​

Through the 1800s into the 1900s the western world underwent a series of amazing transformations. Improvements in nutrition, better public and personal hygiene, better housing and working conditions, and improvements in education all had a part to play in the societal transformation.​

Scurvy is probably the nutritional disease that has caused the most suffering in human history. It is often associated with longer ocean voyages that began in the 15th century. One account by George Anson's 1740-1744 circumnavigation around the world returned from its voyages with only 145 of its original members. Only 4 men had died of enemy action and 1300 had died of disease, primarily of scurvy. But, in fact, most cases of scurvy during the centuries have occurred on land. Scurvy was widespread in northern Europe during the Middles Ages and later in history most cases occurred when food became scarce, such as during the Great Potato Famine of 1845-1848, the American Civil War, the Crimean War, and World War I. An estimated 10,000 people died of scurvy during the California Gold Rush where adequate fruits and vegetables were not in abundance. As improvements in nutrition occurred scurvy deaths declined in conjunction with infectious diseases such as measles.​

Living conditions for many people was dreadful before the 1900s. There was no running water or sanitation and people including children worked excessively long hours in hostile conditions.​

1843 - According the Children's Employment Commission only ‘a constant accession of fresh hands from the country' enables the business in dressmaking workshops to continue. For several months of the year it is customary to work for eighteen to twenty hours per day and often through the night to provide seasonal clothing for the wealthy. Most workers could not last more than three to four years in this area of work.​

1844 - Friedrich Engels publishes the Condition of the Working Classes in England and notes that he met ‘pale, lank, narrow-chested, hallow-eyed ghosts', cooped up in houses that were mere ‘kennels to sleep and die in.' He also wrote "In the manufacture of glass ... many of the children are pale, have red eyes, often blind for weeks at a time, suffer from violent nausea, vomiting, coughs, colds, and rheumatism ... The glass-blowers usually die young of debility or chest infections."​

1850 - New York City - 8,141 cellars shelter 18,456 people. As in Boston, about a twentieth of the population lives in damp, dark, ill-ventilated, vermin-infested, underground rooms.​

1860 - New York City - Great blocks of slums are owned by men who resisted all sanitary improvements by securing from the Tammany-ridden city health department appointments as "health officers".​

1861-1865 - American Civil War - The Union Army loses 186,216 men to disease, twice the number killed in action; nearly half were claimed by typhoid and dysentery.​

1883 - Andrew Mearn's Bitter Cry of Outcast London asks the readers if they had ‘any conception of what these pestilential human rookeries are, where tens of thousands are crowded together amidst horrors which call to mind what we have heard of the middle passage of the slave ship'​

Slowly over the 1800s heroes such as John Snow and scores of others helped improve living conditions for the common man.​

1858 - John Snow presents a report to the House of Commons Select Committee where he states that the cholera was water-borne. He advocates massive improvements in drainage and sewage.​

1863 - New York City - Most casual investigation showed that a great part of the deaths from epidemics were preventable by better housing and a few elementary measures of sanitation. The reeking slums of the Fourth Ward it was found that one resident in twenty-five perished, while in the open, well-built Fifteenth Ward, only one resident in sixty.​

1868 - New York City - The municipal health board forces the removal of all downtown slaughterhouses, of which there had been twenty-three in a single half-ward, to points above Fortieth Street. At the same time the first collecting sewer to free the pier slips from the accumulation of waste was built, and others rapidly followed.​

1875 - England - Main drainage of London completed. The sanitary infrastructure is a triumph of civil engineering. Public Health Act requires the appointment of a medical officer of health to every sanitary district in England and Wales.​

1890 - 1915 - Personal hygiene revolution - personal hygiene becomes an essential feature of "civilized" behavior in the United States and Europe.​

1900 - Holt, perhaps the best-known and influential pediatrician in the United States at the time and author of the widely read The Care and Feeding of Children considers nutrition to be the most important branch of pediatrics. He declares that, "The largest part of the immense mortality of the first year [of life] is traceable directly to disorders of nutrition."​

1924 - In the Lancet, William Cramer expresses the belief that subclinical vitamin A deficiency might actually be common, a condition he called, "the borderline between health and disease." He notes that, "These effects [from lack of vitamins] are so little obvious that they have up to now been overlooked." Cramer surmises that children in this borderline state would appear well but under stress of infection would do poorly because of an underlying inadequate intake of vitamins.​

As sanitation and hygiene became common place, nutrition improved, working hours reduced and working standards put into place, and as scores of other changes from screens in windows to refrigeration became available the diseases that once devastated populations began their steady and significant decline. These public health measures were simply one of the greatest revolutions that brought about the relatively infectious disease free world that is enjoyed by many in the western world today.​

Fast forward 60 years to the present; parents state their children were developing normally until the time of a vaccine; boys are 3 to 4 times more likely to have autism than girls; often times sitting, walking, talking are all normal in a child until 12-30 months followed by a major regression. The parallels to the present day epidemic in childhood neurologic disorders to this 1948 article are striking and concerning. What is equally disturbing is the observation of the authors that the neurologic problem occurred near the administration of the pertussis vaccine and that the "sex difference" in the "gross injury to the developing nervous system" was similar to the heavy metal lead.​

Coal-burning power plants, use of mercury in gold mining, industrial manufacturing, incineration of municipal and medical waste, are some of the sources of heavy metals found in our modern environment. These pollutants contaminate our environment and enter our food supply and eventually our bodies. In some cases heavy metals were added to products, such as in mercury amalgam fillings, and one substance in particular, Thimerosal, has been believed by many to be a major cause of neurologic problems that we encounter today.​

Thimerosal is a mercury-containing organic compound or organomercurial. In the 1930s, Eli Lily developed Thimerosal as a preservative and it has been used in a number of biological and drug products, including many vaccines. Until the removal of Thimerosal, which contains 49.9% ethyl mercury by weight, from most pediatric vaccines in 2001, the source of the largest human exposure to mercury in the US was in children under 18 months of age undergoing routine childhood immunization schedules. Before 2001, a child may have received a cumulative dose of over 200 μg/kg [micrograms per kilogram] in the first 18 months of life.​

Although Thimerosal has been removed from most childhood vaccines, it is still present in the flu vaccine, which is given to pregnant women, the elderly, and children. Also, many vaccines given to children in developing countries still contain Thimerosal.​

Many still believe that Thimerosal is safe and effective and that there is little to no evidence that there is any health problems associated with this substance. According to the FDA website:​

"Thimerosal has been the subject of several studies and has a long record of safe and effective use preventing bacterial and fungal contamination of vaccines, with no ill effects established other than minor local reactions at the site of injection."​

The article references eight studies supporting their position. But is there evidence that shows Thimerosal isn't safe?​

A Material Safety Data Sheet or MSDS is a document that provides the proper procedures for handling or working with a particular substance. The information includes physical data (such as melting point, boiling point, etc.), toxicity, health effects, first aid, reactivity, storage, disposal, protective equipment, and spill/leak procedures.

The hazard rating information that appears on the MSDS is summarized on a diamond-shaped diagram that can rapidly alert personnel to substances that require special caution. Hazards are rated from 0 indicating no unusual hazard to 4 a severe hazard. The blue area of the diamond relates to health and a rating of 2 in the case of Thimerosal indicates "Intense or continued exposure could cause temporary incapacitation or possible residual injury unless prompt medical attention is given."

Here are some disturbing excerpts from the MSDS for thimerosal (trade name Merthiolate):​

The Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), commonly known as Superfund, was enacted by Congress on December 11, 1980. This law created a tax on the chemical and petroleum industries and provided broad Federal authority to respond directly to releases or threatened releases of hazardous substances that may endanger public health or the environment. SARA 313 requires the EPA and State Regulatory Agencies to annually collect data on releases and transfers of certain toxic chemicals from industrial facilities, and make the data available to the public through a public database called the Toxics Release Inventory, or TRI.​

These data safety sheets alone are certainly a cause for concern. One has to question why would anyone use such a dangerous substance in any medical product let alone one that is injected directly into the blood stream? But in addition to the MSDS there are numerous studies from the medical and scientific literature that clearly show thimerosal is not a safe substance. Pfizer, meanwhile has been sued by the nation's pharmacy retailers for what is alleged as an "overarching anticompetitive scheme" to keep generic cholesterol drugs off the market and thereby boost its own profits.

The picture that's emerging is one of a criminal drug industry that has turned to mafia tactics in the absence of any real science that would prove their products to be safe or effective. The emergence of this extraordinary evidence of bribery, scientific fraud, lying to regulators and monopolistic practices that harm consumers is also making all those doctors and "skeptics" who defended Big Pharma and vaccines eat their words.

To defend Big Pharma today is to defend a cabal of criminal corporations that have proven they will do anything -- absolutely anything -- to keep their profits rolling in. [h=1]GlaxoSmithKline pleads guilty to bribery, fraud and other crimes[/h]In what is now the largest criminal fraud settlement ever to come out of the pharmaceutical industry, GlaxoSmithKline has pleaded guilty and agreed to pay $1 billion in criminal fines and $2 billion in civil fines following a nine-year federal investigation into its activities.

• Fabricated drug safety data and lied to the FDA

And this is just the part they got caught doing. GSK doesn't even deny any of this. The company simply paid the $3 billion fine, apologized to its customers, and continued conducting business as usual.

But one thing listeners didn't know was that, two months before the program aired, Dr. Pinsky -- who gained fame as "Dr. Drew" during years co-hosting a popular radio sex-advice show "Loveline" -- received the second of two payments from Glaxo totaling $275,000 for "services for Wellbutrin."

[h=1]Pfizer sued by retailers over anticompetitive scheme[/h]Adding to all this, Pfizer has now been sued by five U.S. retailers (pharmacies) who accuse the company of monopolistic market practices. According to the lawsuit, Pfizer conspired to prevent generic versions of its blockbuster cholesterol drug Lipitor from entering the market. This was done to protect billions in profits while making sure patients did not have access to more affordable cholesterol drugs. Pfizer sells nearly $10 billion worth of Lipitor each year.

• Engaging in sham litigation
• Entering a price-fixing agreement to delay cheaper generics

A medical conspiracy of epic proportions stands to bring down the entire vaccine house of cards following the revelation that the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) censored key data linking the MMR vaccine to autism. A top CDC researcher-turned-whistleblower has come forward with the truth about a study that the CDC has long claimed proves the safety of MMR, when in fact it actually shows the exact opposite.

Speaking on the condition of anonymity, the CDC whistleblower told Dr. Brian Hooker from the Focus Autism Foundation (FAF) that a 2004 CDC study published in the journal Pediatrics, entitled "Age at First Measles-Mumps-Rubella Vaccination in Children With Autism and School-Matched Control Subjects: A Population-Based Study in Metropolitan Atlanta," contains data that was deliberately manipulated to conceal the vaccine-autism connection.

Drs. Frank DeStefano, M.D., Marshalyn Yeargin-Allsopp, M.D., and Coleen Boyle, Ph.D., all employees of the CDC, published the joint paper that looked at 624 children with autism living in the Atlanta-metro area of Georgia. These children were evaluated alongside 1,824 children without autism, all of whom were matched according to age, gender, school and time of vaccination.

Between the two groups, similar proportions of children were vaccinated both before 18 months and before 24 months, with the bulk having been vaccinated between 12 and 17 months of age. And based on this analysis, researchers say they found no link between the MMR vaccine and autism, a claim that Dr. Boyle, who currently holds the position of Director of the National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities at the CDC, reiterated during a 2012 Congressional hearing.

[h=1]CDC altered study sample size to obscure autism link, particularly in black boys[/h] The implication, of course, is that these findings prove once and for all that MMR does not cause autism, a claim heralded by the mainstream media as undeniable fact. But according to the CDC whistleblower, everything is not as it seems when it comes to what the study actually found.

Early on in the research, it was apparently discovered that African American boys who received the MMR vaccine at three years of age or younger were 340 percent more likely to develop autism than other children. This is obviously not what the CDC wanted to find, as it betrays the loyalty that the agency has to the vaccine industry. So the CDC basically scrubbed it by paring down the sample size, excluding children who did not have a State of Georgia birth certificate.

"CDC researchers excluded children that did not have a valid State of Georgia birth certificate -- reducing the sample size being studied by 41%," explains an FAF press release on this groundbreaking discovery. "y introducing this arbitrary criteria into the analysis, the cohort size was sharply reduced, eliminating the statistical power of the findings and negating the strong MMR-autism link in African American boys."

[h=1]Dr. Wakefield's new film exposes MMR-autism coverup by CDC[/h] What the CDC did, in essence, was recreate the original study design after it was discovered that the original one showed adverse effects associated with MMR. In other words, the CDC deliberately withheld the truth about MMR, manufacturing a false study after the fact in order to arrive at what appears to have been a predetermined outcome.

"The results of the original study first appeared in the journal Pediatrics which receives financial support from vaccine makers via advertising and direct donations," adds the FAF announcement. "[This fraudulent study] is widely used by the CDC and other public health organizations to dismiss any link between vaccines and autism -- a neurological disorder on the rise."

For people like Dr. Andrew Wakefield, the British gastroenterologist who had his career stolen from him over similar findings, this revelation is timely. No longer will the mainstream media be able to claim that no link between vaccines and autism exists, as this grand deception by the CDC proves that MMR isn't nearly as safe as we've all been led to believe.

"We've missed 10 years of research because the CDC is so paralyzed right now by anything related to autism," admitted the CDC whistleblower, who says he deeply regrets his previous involvement in the MMR-autism coverup. "They're not doing what they should be doing because they're afraid to look for things that might be associated."

Dr. Diane Harper was a leading expert responsible for the Phase II and Phase III safety and effectiveness studies which secured the approval of the human papilloma virus (HPV) vaccines, Gardasil™ and Cervarix™. Dr. Harper also authored many of the published, scholarly papers about the vaccines. She is now the latest in a long string of experts who are pressing the red alert button on the devastating consequences and irrelevancy of these vaccines. Dr. Harper made her surprising confession at the 4th International Converence on Vaccination which took place in Reston, Virginia. Her speech, which was originally intended to promote the benefits of the vaccines, took a 180-degree turn when she chose instead to clean her conscience about the deadly vaccines so she “could sleep at night”. The following is an excerpt from a story by Sarah Cain:
“Dr. Harper explained in her presentation that the cervical cancer risk in the U.S. is already extremely low, and that vaccinations are unlikely to have any effect upon the rate of cervical cancer in the United States. In fact, 70% of all HPV infections resolve themselves without treatment in a year, and the number rises to well over 90% in two years. Harper also mentioned the safety angle. All trials of the vaccines were done on children aged 15 and above, despite them currently being marketed for 9-year-olds. So far, 15,037 girls have reported adverse side effects from Gardasil™ alone to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), and this number only reflects parents who underwent the hurdles required for reporting adverse reactions. At the time of writing, 44 girls are officially known to have died from these vaccines. The reported side effects include Guillian Barré Syndrome (paralysis lasting for years, or permanently — sometimes eventually causing suffocation), lupus, seizures, blood clots, and brain inflammation. Parents are usually not made aware of these risks. Dr. Harper, the vaccine developer, claimed that she was speaking out, so that she might finally be able to sleep at night. ’About eight in every ten women who have been sexually active will have HPV at some stage of their life,’ Harper says. ’Normally there are no symptoms, and in 98 per cent of cases it clears itself. But in those cases where it doesn’t, and isn’t treated, it can lead to pre-cancerous cells which may develop into cervical cancer.’”
Although these two vaccines are marketed as protection against cervical cancer, this claim is purely hypothetical. Studies have proven “there is no demonstrated relationship between the condition being vaccinated for and the rare cancers that the vaccine might prevent, but it is marketed to do that nonetheless. In fact, there is no actual evidence that the vaccine can prevent any cancer. From the manufacturers own admissions, the vaccine only works on 4 strains out of 40 for a specific venereal disease that dies on its own in a relatively short period, so the chance of it actually helping an individual is about about the same as the chance of her being struck by a meteorite.”

UPDATE #1: Since coming forward with the truth about the devastating consequences of the HPV vaccine, Dr. Harper has been victim of a relentless campaign attempting to discredit the validity of her claims. Harper was even misquoted by British tabloid The Sunday Express which printed a false story loaded with fabricated quotations attributed to Harper. In an interview with The Guardian, Harper makes it very clear about what exactly she said in order to protect herself from a potential lawsuit. In an interview with CBS NEWS, Harper clarifies her position, and once again makes it crystal clear just how devastating this vaccine can be: “If we vaccinate 11 year olds and the protection doesn’t last … we’ve put them at harm from side effects, small but real, for no benefit,” says Dr. Harper. “The benefit to public health is nothing, there is no reduction in cervical cancers, they are just postponed, unless the protection lasts for at least 15 years, and over 70% of all sexually active females of all ages are vaccinated.” She also says that enough serious side effects have been reported after Gardasil use that the vaccine could prove riskier than the cervical cancer it purports to prevent. Cervical cancer is usually entirely curable when detected early through normal Pap screenings.
“The risks of serious adverse events including death reported after Gardasil use in (the JAMA article by CDC’s Dr. Barbara Slade) were 3.4/100,000 doses distributed,” Harper tells CBS NEWS. ”The rate of serious adverse events on par with the death rate of cervical cancer. Gardasil has been associated with at least as many serious adverse events as there are deaths from cervical cancer developing each year. Indeed, the risks of vaccination are underreported in Slade’s article, as they are based on a denominator of doses distributed from Merck’s warehouse. Up to a third of those doses may be in refrigerators waiting to be dispensed as the autumn onslaught of vaccine messages is sent home to parents the first day of school. Should the denominator in Dr. Slade’s work be adjusted to account for this, and then divided by three for the number of women who would receive all three doses, the incidence rate of serious adverse events increases up to five fold. How does a parent value that information,” said Harper.
“Parents and women must know that deaths occurred,” Harper tells CBS NEWS. “Not all deaths that have been reported were represented in Dr. Slade’s work, one-third of the death reports were unavailable to the CDC, leaving the parents of the deceased teenagers in despair that the CDC is ignoring the very rare but real occurrences that need not have happened if parents were given information stating that there are real, but small risks of death surrounding the administration of Gardasil.” She also worries that Merck’s aggressive marketing of the vaccine may have given women a false sense of security. “The future expectations women hold because they have received free doses of Gardasil purchased by philanthropic foundations, by public health agencies or covered by insurance is the true threat to cervical cancer in the future. Should women stop Pap screening after vaccination, the cervical cancer rate will actually increase per year. Should women believe this is preventive for all cancers — something never stated, but often inferred by many in the population — a reduction in all health care will compound our current health crisis. Should Gardasil not be effective for more than 15 years, the most costly public health experiment in cancer control will have failed miserably.” Harper notes that her concern for the vaccine’s deadly side effects applies only to women in the Western world. ”Of course, in developing countries where there is no safety Pap screening for women repeatedly over their lifetimes, the risks of serious adverse events may be acceptable as the incidence rate of cervical cancer is five to 12 times higher than in the US, dwarfing the risk of death reported after Gardasil.”
UPDATE #2: The National Vaccine Information Center HAS CONFIRMED two virologists, Stephen Krahling and Joan Wlochowski have filed a lawsuit against their former employer and vaccine manufacturer Merck. NVIC writes: “The lawsuit alleges that Merck defrauded the U.S. for over 10 years by overstating the MMR vaccine’s effectivenes. The virologists claim in their lawsuit that they ‘Witnessed firsthand the improper testing and data falseification in which Merck engaged to artificially inflate the vaccine’s efficacy findings.” NVIC president and co-founder, Barbara Loe Fisher, warns of the disturbingly cozy relationship and overwhelming conflict of interest between federal agencies charged with vaccine safety oversight (such as the Centers for Disease Control) and vaccine manufacturers. CDC whistleblower confesses to publishing fraudulent data to obfuscate link between vaccines and autism

A medical conspiracy of epic proportions stands to bring down the entire vaccine house of cards following the revelation that the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) censored key data linking the MMR vaccine to autism. A top CDC researcher-turned-whistleblower has come forward with the truth about a study that the CDC has long claimed proves the safety of MMR, when in fact it actually shows the exact opposite.

Speaking on the condition of anonymity, the CDC whistleblower told Dr. Brian Hooker from the Focus Autism Foundation (FAF) that a 2004 CDC study published in the journal Pediatrics, entitled "Age at First Measles-Mumps-Rubella Vaccination in Children With Autism and School-Matched Control Subjects: A Population-Based Study in Metropolitan Atlanta," contains data that was deliberately manipulated to conceal the vaccine-autism connection.

Drs. Frank DeStefano, M.D., Marshalyn Yeargin-Allsopp, M.D., and Coleen Boyle, Ph.D., all employees of the CDC, published the joint paper that looked at 624 children with autism living in the Atlanta-metro area of Georgia. These children were evaluated alongside 1,824 children without autism, all of whom were matched according to age, gender, school and time of vaccination.

Between the two groups, similar proportions of children were vaccinated both before 18 months and before 24 months, with the bulk having been vaccinated between 12 and 17 months of age. And based on this analysis, researchers say they found no link between the MMR vaccine and autism, a claim that Dr. Boyle, who currently holds the position of Director of the National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities at the CDC, reiterated during a 2012 Congressional hearing.

CDC altered study sample size to obscure autism link, particularly in black boys

The implication, of course, is that these findings prove once and for all that MMR does not cause autism, a claim heralded by the mainstream media as undeniable fact. But according to the CDC whistleblower, everything is not as it seems when it comes to what the study actually found.

Early on in the research, it was apparently discovered that African American boys who received the MMR vaccine at three years of age or younger were 340 percent more likely to develop autism than other children. This is obviously not what the CDC wanted to find, as it betrays the loyalty that the agency has to the vaccine industry. So the CDC basically scrubbed it by paring down the sample size, excluding children who did not have a State of Georgia birth certificate.

"CDC researchers excluded children that did not have a valid State of Georgia birth certificate -- reducing the sample size being studied by 41%," explains an FAF press release on this groundbreaking discovery. "y introducing this arbitrary criteria into the analysis, the cohort size was sharply reduced, eliminating the statistical power of the findings and negating the strong MMR-autism link in African American boys."

What the CDC did, in essence, was recreate the original study design after it was discovered that the original one showed adverse effects associated with MMR. In other words, the CDC deliberately withheld the truth about MMR, manufacturing a false study after the fact in order to arrive at what appears to have been a predetermined outcome.

"The results of the original study first appeared in the journal Pediatrics which receives financial support from vaccine makers via advertising and direct donations," adds the FAF announcement. "[This fraudulent study] is widely used by the CDC and other public health organizations to dismiss any link between vaccines and autism -- a neurological disorder on the rise."

For people like Dr. Andrew Wakefield, the British gastroenterologist who had his career stolen from him over similar findings, this revelation is timely. No longer will the mainstream media be able to claim that no link between vaccines and autism exists, as this grand deception by the CDC proves that MMR isn't nearly as safe as we've all been led to believe.

"We've missed 10 years of research because the CDC is so paralyzed right now by anything related to autism," admitted the CDC whistleblower, who says he deeply regrets his previous involvement in the MMR-autism coverup. "They're not doing what they should be doing because they're afraid to look for things that might be associated."

If you think about it, nations without the resources to ensure the ultimate threat, disease, can be managed within their populations competiting with other nations which can afford and do manage disease could seek to undermine public confidence in immunisation and what better way to do that than this.

I honestly think this is the Occam's Razor explanation as opposed to a secret cabal of jewish bankers with masonic henchmen running the world.

I'd rather base my decision to vaccinate or not vaccinate on the severity and likelihood of the actual disease vs the vaccine for that disease. These days, the pharmaceutical industry no longer makes vaccines for deadly, infection viruses, but also makes vaccines for relative innocuous bacterial infections, or fairly harmless viruses like Chicken Pox. Are they trying to say that Chicken Pox is just as life-alteringly-severe as Polio???

The vaccine death cult is busy spreading its genocide in the South American country of Colombia, where young girls everywhere are reportedly falling ill with a "mystery illness" that their parents say is being triggered by the HPV vaccine Gardasil. An Agence France-Presse report explains that many of the girls are developing cold hands and feet, becoming pale, convulsing and even collapsing unconscious following the shot, symptoms that are frequently observed post-Gardasil.

In the town of El Carmen de Bolivar, population 67,000, dozens of girls have been rushed to the hospital recently after developing these and other symptoms. One young girl by the name of Eva Mercado recalls having passed out seven times during a single month not long after getting vaccinated, which also left her unable to feel her appendages.

"They vaccinated me in May and I started fainting in August," she told reporters. "My legs became heavy and I couldn't feel my hands anymore. When I woke up, I was in the hospital."

Another 15-year-old girl began developing headaches and backaches following her Gardasil shots, a gradual deterioration that eventually left her unable to use her hands and legs. She now has to have her mother give her baths, as she lacks the strength to adequately care for herself without assistance from another.

"They brought me to the hospital 16 times last month," stated the child.

Government claims more than 370 hospital admissions represent made up 'hysteria'

Many others are suffering similar symptoms, which only began to emerge en masse after the government adopted a campaign to promote the HPV vaccine, primarily for girls. Since that time, more than 370 minors just in El Carmen de Bolivar have been admitted to the hospital for treatment, with many of them now unable to function.

"There is no diagnosis or specific treatment," stated Augusto Agamez, an official from the Nuestra Senora del Carmen hospital where the many hundreds of girls have been admitted in recent weeks.

Despite the fact that the girls have obvious physical problems that require them to receive oxygen and saline injections, the government claims that the surge in hospital admissions is a product of mass hysteria, not legitimate need. Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos told the media that all the harmed girls represent nothing more than a "phenomenon of collective suggestion."

What a gross insult to all these hundreds of formerly healthy girls, many of whom can no longer walk or use their hands as a result of Gardasil. One does not simply imagine that her legs don't work, and that she needs a family member to give her baths because her hands no longer function. Santos and the vaccine industry have gone off the rails by suggesting that this is all just in the girls' heads.

"This is not collective hysteria or manipulation," expressed one outraged mother, whose 13-year-old daughter was also harmed by Gardasil. "If you see your daughter have these symptoms after a vaccination, what else would you blame?"

In response, Merck, the vaccine's manufacturer, insisted that it is "confident in the safety profile" of Gardasil. The vaccine giant also says it will continue to support the mass HPV vaccination campaign in Colombia, as will President Santos, despite the fact that hundreds upon hundreds of young girls are being harmed by the jab.

"We have no reason to stop at this time," stated Health Minister Alejandro Gaviria, whose recent visit to the town was met with loud boos and burned tires.

This is a good thread. I also worry about vaccines when I have children. The onset of autism has increased dramatically since the 80's; targeted at boys more than girls and predominantly targeting afican american boys. Makes me worry if they are targeting certain genes within races for ulterior purposes. scary stuff indeed.

Kenya’s Catholic bishops are charging two United Nations organizations with sterilizing millions of girls and women under cover of an anti-tetanus inoculation program sponsored by the Kenyan government.
According to a statement released Tuesday by the Kenya Catholic Doctors Association, the organization has found an antigen that causes miscarriages in a vaccine being administered to 2.3 million girls and women by the World Health Organization and UNICEF. Priests throughout Kenya reportedly are advising their congregations to refuse the vaccine.
“We sent six samples from around Kenya to laboratories in South Africa. They tested positive for the HCG antigen,” Dr. Muhame Ngare of the Mercy Medical Centre in Nairobi told LifeSiteNews. “They were all laced with HCG.”
Dr. Ngare, spokesman for the Kenya Catholic Doctors Association, stated in a bulletin released November 4, “This proved right our worst fears; that this WHO campaign is not about eradicating neonatal tetanus but a well-coordinated forceful population control mass sterilization exercise using a proven fertility regulating vaccine. This evidence was presented to the Ministry of Health before the third round of immunization but was ignored.”
But the government says the vaccine is safe. Health Minister James Macharia even told the BBC, “I would recommend my own daughter and wife to take it because I entirely 100% agree with it and have confidence it has no adverse health effects.”
And Dr. Collins Tabu, head of the Health Ministry’s immunization branch, told the Kenyan Nation, that “there is no other additive in the vaccine other than the tetanus antigen.”
Tabu said the same vaccine has been used for 30 years in Kenya. Moreover, “there are women who were vaccinated in October 2013 and March this year who are expectant. Therefore we deny that the vaccines are laced with contraceptives.”
Newspaper stories also report women getting pregnant after being vaccinated.
Responds Dr. Ngare: “Either we are lying or the government is lying. But ask yourself, ‘What reason do the Catholic doctors have for lying?’” Dr. Ngare added: “The Catholic Church has been here in Kenya providing health care and vaccinating for 100 years for longer than Kenya has existed as a country.”
Dr. Ngare told LifeSiteNews that several things alerted doctors in the Church’s far-flung medical system of 54 hospitals, 83 health centres, and 17 medical and nursing schools to the possibility the anti-tetanus campaign was secretly an anti-fertility campaign.
Why, they ask does it involve an unprecedented five shots (or “jabs” as they are known, in Kenya) over more than two years and why is it applied only to women of child-bearing years, and why is it not being conducted without the usual fanfare of government publicity?
“Usually we give a series three shots over two to three years, we give it anyone who comes into the clinic with an open wound, men, women or children.” said Dr. Ngare. “If this is intended to inoculate children in the womb, why give it to girls starting at 15 years? You cannot get married till you are 18.” The usual way to vaccinate children is to wait till they are six weeks old.”
But it is the five-vaccination regime that is most alarming. “The only time tetanus vaccine has been given in five doses is when it is used as a carrier in fertility regulating vaccines laced with the pregnancy hormone, Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) developed by WHO in 1992.”
It is HCG that has been found in all six samples sent to the University of Nairobi medical laboratory and another in South Africa. The bishops and doctors warn that injecting women with HCG , which mimics a natural hormone produced by pregnant women, causes them to develop antibodies against it. When they do get pregnant, and produce their own version of HCG, it triggers the production of antibodies that cause a miscarriage.
“We knew that the last time this vaccination with five injections has been used was in Mexico in 1993 and Nicaragua and the Philippines in 1994,” said Dr. Ngare. “It didn’t cause miscarriages till three years later,” which is why, he added, the counterclaims that women who got the vaccination recently and then got pregnant are meaningless.
Ngare said WHO tried to bring the same anti-fertility program into Kenya in the 1990s. “We alerted the government and it stopped the vaccination. But this time they haven’t done so.”
Ngare also contrasted the secrecy of this campaign with the usual fanfare accompanying national vaccination efforts. “They usually bring all the stakeholders together three months before the campaign, like they did with polio a little while ago. And they use staff in all the centres to give out the vaccine.” But with this anti-tetanus campaign, “only a few operatives from the government are allowed to give it out. They come with a police escort. They take it away with them when they are finished. Why not leave it with the local medical staff to administer?”
Brian Clowes of Human Life International in Virginia told LifeSite News that WHO was not involved in the Nicaragua, Mexican and Philippines campaigns. “They try to maintain a spotless record. They let organizations like United Nations Population Fund and USAID do the dirty work.”
In the previous cases, said Clowes, the vaccinators insisted their product was pure until it was shown not to be. Then they claimed the positive tests for HCG were isolated, accidental contaminations in the manufacturing process.
LifeSiteNews has obtained a UN report on an August 1992 meeting at its world headquarters in Geneva of 10 scientists from “Australia, Europe, India and the U.S.A” and 10 “women’s health advocates” from around the world, to discuss the use of “fertility regulating vaccines.” It describes the “anti-Human Chorionic Gonadotropin vaccine” as the most advanced.
One million Kenyan women and girls have been vaccinated so far with another 1.3 million to go. The vaccination is targeting women, according to the government, in order to inoculate their children in the womb against tetanus as well. The government says 550 children die of tetanus yearly.
In covering the contest of words the pro-government Nation found plenty of women who had been vaccinated and were now pregnant, even one who was the wife of a former Catholic priest who left the Church to marry. The paper ignored Kenya’s reliance on the Catholic medical system, while setting the bishops’ stand in a questionable historical context of irrational responses “largely based on religious beliefs,” the more recent murder of vaccination teams in Nigeria, and even of CIA conspiracy theories.
Why would the UN want to suppress the population in developing countries? “Racism,” is Brian Clowes’ first explanation. “Also, the developed countries want to get hold of their natural resources. And lately, there is the whole bogus global warming thing.”
Dr. Ngare said it was the Catholic Church’s hope that the government could have resolved the matter quietly by testing the vaccine. “But the government has chosen to be combative,” forcing Kenya’s bishops and Catholic doctors to go public.

If flu shots are really as effective as the U.S. government claims they are, then why did nearly a quarter of the Navy crewmen aboard the U.S.S. Ardent earlier this year contract the flu, even though 99 percent of them had been previously vaccinated with flu shots?

This is one of the questions being asked after the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) published the results of a study on this major influenza outbreak that appears to defy the prevalent logic dictating the official vaccine narrative.

According to the study, the U.S.S. Arden was moored in San Diego, California, on February 10 to conduct a training exercise. After just three days, 25 of the 102 crewmen aboard the ship sought medical care after developing influenza-like illness, or ILI.

The Naval Health Research Center ultimately used polymerase chain reaction testing to determine that 20 of the individuals had influenza A, and 18 of these bore the specific subtype H3N2. The remaining two specimens could not be attributed a subtype, according to the study.

The outbreak was so severe that the ship was fully disinfected and the infected crew members sent home, some after being given antiviral medications and instructions on how to avoid spreading the illness. But after analyzing the situation, it was revealed that nearly every crewman had previously received a flu shot, demonstrating that this common vaccine simply doesn't work.

"At the time of the outbreak, 99% of the crew had received influenza vaccine," admits the study, as published by the CDC. "This outbreak highlights the risk for an H3N2 influenza outbreak among vaccinated and otherwise healthy young persons," adds the report.

But the bigger culprit, and the one often ignored by mainstream medical professionals, is the fact that, despite nearly total compliance with the U.S. Department of Defense's (DoD) flu shot mandate, the crewmen aboard the U.S.S. Arden succumbed to a major flu outbreak.

"Since the 1950s, a policy of mandatory annual vaccination against influenza for active duty personnel has been largely successful in limiting influenza epidemics in the military," claims the same study, just a few lines after admitting that flu shots were not protective in this case.

"The policy specifically directs all Navy operational units to be at least 90% vaccinated. However, despite vaccination measures, influenza outbreaks can still occur in highly vaccinated military populations."

You can't in one sentence claim that flu shots have been "successful" in stopping influenza outbreaks while in the same breath admit that outbreaks can still occur among vaccinated populations.

But this is the prevailing vaccine dogma that currently dominates America's public health policy. Somehow, getting vaccinated for the flu protects people against the flu, claim government officials -- except when it doesn't, which is more often than most people probably think.

As you may recall, a major mumps outbreak that began in 2009 ravaged communities in New York that, as it turns out, were also almost completely vaccinated. Once again, the failure of vaccines to provide legitimate protection against disease was made evident, though few acknowledged this fact at the time.
